Now that I know how to use them, Pedro's tire levers have worked well and will not damage the rim or tires. The first time I went to use them on my road bike tires, I snapped the tip off of one of the tire levers. I then realized that the spoon part of the levers, that goes under the tire bead, is much thicker at the base than at the tip (makes getting them under the bead easier). Once you have the tip of the lever under the bead, be sure you use the base to leverage the tire against the rim to pull it off. If the lever is not seated under the tire bead far enough, when you go to take the tire off the rim,the leverage will be on the tip of the lever and will cause the tip to snap off since that is the weakest part.I contacted Pedro's on their Website for a replacement under their lifetime warranty, which was hassle free. They had me email them a claim form with a picture of the broken lever and they promptly sent out a new pair to me. Before the Pedro's tire levers I used a

I have tried every single tyre lever on the market - even the old desert spoons your Mom had in the drawer at home (we've all used them haven't we ?)I have a pair of Fulcrum Racing Zero's (not much change out of £1000 a pair - now, you don't want to use metal on these hoops !) - the Pedros levers are solid and will not break (some levers break and are as sharp as glass), but they are supple enough to let you "feel" the leverage and leave no marks (fitting tyres is about levering On or off is a little bit at a time - don't try to force 1/4 of a tyre at once, you will destroy your levers, rims and will pinch tubes if you don't have tubeless rims). Take your time and you will NEVER EVER need to buy more levers.I do however, suggest you buy 2 sets and use 3 levers for any work, 2 make it hard work, 3 are ideal but you don't need 4 - change a tyre and you will see what I mean !!Best levers on the market for years and years - can't recommend them enough :-)

Having snapped 3 tyre levers trying to remove a continental 700 23c tyre from my Ultegra rims and having to give up and walk home 5 miles in cleats, I googled best tyre levers and came across these. Bought from Amazon using prime and whilst not the cheapest levers you can buy the are undoubtedly the best I have ever used. Fitted two new Continental tyres last night and as expected with 700 23c folding tyres, the fit is pretty snug. These levers stood up to the task magnificently getting under the bead easily to get the old tyres off and then fitting the new tyres back on. Yes you could probably do with a 3rd lever in some cases but if you use them properly you can refit with the 2 supplied.Life time guarantee may well be tested, but first impressions are that they deserve thir plaudits. Bought in yellow and very visable. Have since ordered 2 more sets, one for a saddle bag on another bike and one for the brother in law

I purchased this tire lever tool because I punctured a 6 dollar new tube using the screwdriver method to install it last fall. So the tire lay flat all winter but its now finally the spring, so time to try again, but this time with the proper tool. The tool arrived this week and I put it to the test today with full success. I was able to "remove" the tire with this tire lever with ease and install a new inner tube. The one side clips on to a spoke to stabilize it as you then use the other lever to work the rest of the tire off. Pinkish color is kind of cool (hey, I used it on my daughter's bike) ... I only used this once so far so I don't how long it will last but seems durable.Fully satisfied!

Had the most ridiculous continental tyres on my road bike and tried everything to get the tyre off - literally hours and almost tore the tyre apart using bottle openers and blunt knives to get the tyre off the rim - didn't even get close. Had these come through the post and expected them to be as useless as everything else I'd tried - took no more than 3 seconds to pull the tyres away from the rim - incredible. Weren't so good at getting the tyres back on, but as my bike store demonstrated to me - the tyres are some of the worst to get back on so I'm not going to rate badly for a poor quality tyre causing the extra trouble. Time for some new tyres without a doubt.

Not a bad thing to say, arrived quickly and have severed daily use in a bike shop for a few months now. These are one of the purchases that you wish you made earlier. Nice solid feel and grip, the wide flat point grabs any tire easily. Couldn't be more happy. Lovely bright yellow makes them stand out in the work shop and if you drop the behind your work bench or something they are very easy to see. They snap together securely and don't come undone in your bag. Supreme grip in wet conditions and also are great for unclogging mud from your bike when it gets real messy. I own these proudly and have got some friend to buy them, needless to say it changed their lives

I bought a pair of Pedros tyre levers after braking several ordinary trying to fit a especially tight 700 road bike tyre , I gave up and took the wheel to my local bike shop , after they broke several tyre levers trying to fit the tyre , they eventually fitted it by squeezing the tyre on to the rim using a bench vice . The Pedros levers served me well for a couple of years (I own eight bikes) of frequent tyre changes . Eventually one broke removing the same 700 road bike tyre that gave me so much trouble . I emailed Pedros , they apologised to me that one of their tyre levers broke and sent me a new replacement pair . The best tyre levers I've ever used .

I commute to work every day by bike and have had my share of flat tires and punctured tubes, and have had to pull off bike tires hundreds of times. I also run a small bike shop in my garage at home. These Pedro's tire levers are sturdy and well designed. Over the 3 years using Pedro's (and hundreds of times pulling tires off the rim) I have broken 1. I have a feeling this has more to do with road bike tires being extremely tight than the levers being poorly made. These are by far better than any Wal-Mart or cheap brand I have ever tried. If you are deciding which ones to buy, I say pull the trigger on these. They really are great tire levers.

Can’t fathom why these should be heralded as ‘adult’ or ‘unisex’, these are the best tyre levers I’ve ever used, and I’ve used them for years. Unlike metal levers, these won’t mark your rims, and unlike every other plastic lever I’ve tried, these don’t go brittle with age and snap, nor go soft and bend, despite being kept on my bikes in an unheated garage. The fluorescent colour means you can always find them when you put them down whilst fixing a puncture at the roadside or a woodland track. These are the best, you won’t go back to another type whether you’re a roadie or a mountain biker.

I purchased these as I purchased some Wheels for my MTB that were notoriously difficult for tyre fitting. I can confirm that these are without doubt the very best Tyre levers I have ever used for a Mountain bike tyre, & also take into consideration the wheels i was fitting the tyres to (Spank OOzy Trails) have a reputation of being difficult due to extra deep beads. These levers mad the job a piece of cake, much much better than any other lever/spoon/ Bent screwdriver I have ever used! Bought a second set for my commuting rucksack.

They're quite simply Tire Levers. Plastic Tire levers. Thick, good quality, light, not smelly, and overall just strong basic tire levers. They fit nicely in a saddle bag and don't have any defects or shark edges to puncture a spare tube inside, although I am always double-sure it won't happen and wrap them in a sock with my multi-tool.I bought the pink ones because they don't get easily misplaced or lost if you drop them, and because pink is a great color. You should get pink too.Pink is amazing.

Item was exactly as shown and shipped promptly. Thanx!!! Will use this seller again.I am VERY fond of these levers. I've only broken one so far :)The are sturdier than the little cheapo black ones you usually see and also a little wider. Sometimes you get new tires that are so tight they are a real bear to mount/dismount. I have some steel Park levers but they tend to pinch tubes so I quit using them. These levers are really good for me and I will replace them as needed for the rest of my life.

Worked fine on a bicycle with 24-1.75 tires. Manufacturers should consider adding an attachment or case of some type to keep the tools together when not in use. I use the rubber band that came with the packaging, but it is easy to loose. Packaging was good and delivery was very prompt. Some instructions or YouTube reference should be included for people who never changed an inner tube or spokes before.

I managed to snack one of my levers trying to get a rather tight tyre back on a wheel so was looking for something decent. This seemed to fit the bill. Having now changed both tyres on both bikes I think I can honestly say that they work just fine. They are far stronger than my previous ones (though they were cheap) and I do like the fact that they stick together and are very visible.

Sturdy and effective - a good shape for prying and running along the rim, and strong enough to do both with my worst tire/rim combo that has broken huffy (duh) bontrager and park tool tire levers. Though, to be fair, it hasn't had to work those tires as much as the two reputable brands did before they failed. Still, I love these tire levers and will be ordering more.
