I've been using these levers for about 7 years and I still have my original pair. I use this lever for my surrey bicycle rental business and I ordered more to have some on hand at other locations. For those of you who don't know, a surrey bike uses motorcycle/moped wheels and tires. Very heavy duty rims and spokes with a wire bead motorcycle rated tire. This type of tire can be very difficult to mount and these levers make the job much easier. I mount many tires and I've never had one break on me but then I have never had the need to use a hammer to tap theses levers as mentioned in one review. Bike guys know this but for those of you who don't know a screwdriver should never be used to mount a bicycle tire of any kind. You risk damage to the wheel, tire puncture and possible injury to your hand as a screwdriver can be very sharp. The spoon shape and smooth edges of these levers make it almost impossible to cut your hand if you slip. Here's an important tip: These levers work best in pairs... you really need at least 2 levers working together to mount a tire properly. I also like this price as compared to other websites and what a bike shop charges for this product. I highly recommend these levers.

I broke several nylon tire levers recently and decided to purchase at least one steel tool. Pedro's tire lever is like a high quality, heavy screwdriver with a spoon shape, suitable for removing those very tight mountain bike tires. My preference is to use this tool in combination with a nylon version to reduce inner tube pinching. The strength and increased leverage makes that first downward pull or the last upward push go easily.

Although it is designed and sold a tyre lever, a task it performs well, it is also perfect for removing suspension fork seals. It is the design and smooth shape of the tip that makes it suitable, together with the very strong shaft, as considerable force is need to remove the fork seals.

Does what it says on the tin and great for getting very tight tubeless tyres on and off rims. There are cheaper alternatives, this is afterall a motorbike / motorcross lever. but its finished well and looks the part on the tool wall which is something some customers like to see.

Works good feels good. Leverage! Much better than the plastic levers you likely keep with you on your rides. Great for the garage when you aren't fixing a tire on the trail.

Came in handy remounting my tire, which was an extremely tight fit. Plastic tire levers just weren't cutting it. This bad boy, however, works like a charm.

It is hard for me to change wheelchair tires with hands crippled by RA. Can do readily with a pair of these! They will last "forever", very well made.

Great for carpet fitting too...!! Tucking carpet down gripper gap in awkward to reach places and scoring in cut lines... it's a 10 from Mark..!!

Nice quality tyre with a nice smooth finish, I actually use it for removing the seals on my suspension forks.

Large heavy duty lever. If this does not get tyres off nothing will. It is like a very large screwdriver.

Used this as a tool to work on my Shock rebuild. Worked as designed, and is of good quality.

Great tool, particularly for mounting solid (airless) tires on 26" bike rims.
