I bought this to remove a broken ACS freewheel from a used single-speed bike I purchased. Worked very well. You will need to have a 1 inch wrench (or adjustable wrench that can accommodate 1 inch lugs) or a table vice to use this tool. I didn't have a 1 inch wrench or a table vice, so I had to go to the hardware store the next day to pick one up. If you're reading this and don't have either of these tools, buy either of them on amazon and save yourself a trip to the hardware store.

Needed to remove DNP single speed freewheel as it was sounding rough. I had tried the hammer and drift method to remove it with no luck. The freewheel had 8 notches but on measuring them I hoped that the 4 prongs on the FR-6 might work. The tool fitted snug in 4 of the notches. It needed a large wrench with the wheel on the ground so I could put some weight on it but it came off relatively easily.Shows what can be done with the right ( or near enough) tool.

This is a very sturdy tool. It wasn't intended for a Puch freewheel, but with some modification (a little grinding) I was able to make it work. Moped freewheels are getting hard to find. The original removal tools are even more rare. Without a tool like this, a stubborn freewheel will often be destroyed during removal. Thanks to this tool, I was able to remove and repair the original freewheel, and now its good as new!

Worked like a charm. Even though this was meant for 4 notches, I used it on a part with 8 notches and it worked out pretty well. Highly recommended. Even though it probably won't strip for a long time, make sure everything is locked in before you start cranking it, you don't want to strip your tools early, and especially not on the wheel itself.

I could leave an extensive review...... Its park tool if this fits what you need and its in your budget buy it! I'm outfitting a bike shop and this is one of the things I bought from them. (I'm not rich enough to have my dream park tool tool wall yet) but as these things go I went park tool and cheeped out else where.

I love the "Park" line of tools. I have worked in bikes shops, and I have always used park tools. They are durable and well made. I bought this tool to replace one that had gotten misplaced. It is a good item to have in your bike maintenance tool box. The item was received in good shape and on time.

Top quality as you would expect from Park. Used on my single speed shimsno 16T freewheel and fits nicely. I used the FRW1 puller (I have the old version so the FR6 doesn't fit completely inside the puller) and I just needed to lightly tap the end of the puller with a hammer.

Park Tools are the equivalent of Craftsman Tools. Just make sure you are ordering the correct tooth configuration with the flywheel. There are many different types. Great Product for the price. Made to exact standards. They take abuse. Enough said.

I needed it to remove a cog from a freewheel fixie, worked great. The trick to unscrewing the cog from the hub is to simply place the nut portion of the remover down into a vice, and then turn the tire to unscrew. Same pocess to tighten.

this works perfectly for the wonderful White Industries single freewheels as well as their "dos eno" freewheels! No, I am not saying they will make removal EASY, but just saying they perfectly FIT. The removal process is up to you.

A necessity for removing a single-speed freewheel. In my case I was swapping out the freewheel from an old wheel to a new one. You will need a vice or a big pipe wrench to use with this tool to get the freewheel off.

This tool worked for taking off a freewheel. You have to make sure you're getting the right tool since some of them look pretty similar. You can check what type of freewheel it's for at the Park Tool Website.

Always good to have the right tool for the job. I searched for this tool here in town and no one had it. I like to work on my bike and my nephews bike myself. Amazon got it to my in 2 days.

I've found that all of the Park Tools tools that I've bought have been a great success, well made, durable and effective. This one fits a single speed Shimano freewheel just right.
