Got a new bike, needed a bike chain. I bought this based on other reviews.Its pretty heavy and feels sturdy enough. Im pretty confident that with a determined enough effort and the right tools you could cut through this... but then I am sure the same could be said for pretty much every bike chain. Given the build quality of this I am certianly confident enough leaving my bike chained up with this.The chain itself is a good length and long enough to chain one bike or at a bit of apush two to a suitable structure.Comes with lots of keys 6 I think and the main key has a nice touch as it has an LED light on it so you can see where you are pointing it in the dark.Does it work - well 9 months of use and nobody has nicked my bike yet....

This is an excellent lock at a great price, providing a good level of security without being overly bulky and heavy.It doesn't come with anything to attach it to your bike when riding, but it can be coiled up neatly enough and I've just been putting it in my bag without a problem.The rubberised casing around the lock is good for avoiding scratches where it comes into contact with your bike. Comes with a set of 5 keys, the main one with a LED light for convenience - a small thing maybe, but to me that's a sign of thoughtful product design by people who know what they're doing and use these products in the field.Well worth it.

This is a beast of a lock. I had no idea how big it actually was until it arrived. It took me 15 minutes how to work out the best way to secure it to my bike whilst riding without it blocking my leg movements or getting it trapped in the brake cables. I found a way then instantly forgot, so each time is a new challenge. On the plus side it says to potential thieves 'no chance mate, look elsewhere', which I guess is part of the point. On the downside if it ever turned on me I don't think I would win, but that's another issue.

I bought this to lock my wrought iron gates at night as I couldn't find a suitable padlock. This is perfect as I simply thread it through the bars of the gate. One great bonus for this use is that it comes with 5 keys so all family members have a key, one of the keys has a small LED light. The cable and lock are very well made and strong.

Very good quality lock and a good deterrent to the casual thief (it would take a determined thief with an angle grinder to cut this lock). It is very heavy for carrying on a pedal cycle, but mine is electric so the extra weight is not a major issue.

I have been using this lock now for a week or two and must admit the lock feels and looks pure quality solid and have even had a few other cyclist asking where to get Highly recommend,

Very good value for money and great security. Good idea with a light to see to unlock and lock. A shame that there doesn't seem to be a warranty for UK customers.

Wow that's some lock must be the best bike lock I have ever had would definitely recommend this lock for any body with an expensive bike

feels very robust and secure, locking and unlocking can be a bit fiddly due to the stiffness of the plastic butstill glad i bought it

Lock seem heavy but the outer plastic cover doesn't long lasting . Overall I can say at this price it is good option

Does exactly what it says, someone tried breaking into it, well let's just say, they gave up and never came again

Makes my bike feel very safe and secure and it's a lock that's on my permitted lock list for my insurance

Feels very secure. It is reasonably heavy, but I think anyone would struggle to break this lock.

Brilliant, good value, very secure and easy key turn use, which helps when you have arthritis
