I'm very pleased with this little lock. It easily fits round my crossbar and a standard bike rack, and the relatively compact dimensions should make it harder to attack with a car jack.The holder is good: a plastic clamp bolts round the bike frame, and a lug on the lock engages the holder with a 90 degree twist. The only issue I've found so far is that the latches within the lock rattle when its in the holder, even on a fairy smooth road.It's a fairly minor niggle though, for such a sturdy, good-value lock.

This item was delivered quite quickly which im very please with.. also when using the magnum it is very good i dont think a theif will be getting away with my bike anytime soon, i take it to town and i believe the magnum looks intimidating for any criminals, as i can now protect the bike and also both wheels from theft.. the only thing is the lock and key i find it quite flimsy.. and having to give it a jerk i am hoping this doesnt affect me in the future.

Very good. Fits my bike perfectly. A bit small for certain situations but in practice I haven't had a problem locking the bike up, and the fact that it fits so well when I'm carrying it on the bike more than makes up. I read reviews and tests on these D locks and the Bulldog shackle seems to be properly hardened. It's not the thickest shackle but it apparently stands up well to bolt cropper attacks. For £15 this is an absolute bargain.

The slightly fiddly clip snapped when I fitted. To their great credit the sellers had a replacement clip to me within 48 hours. The lock is study but compact and after a bit of practice slipping it into the holder is easy. The Cable is useful for securing wheels or when not adjacent to railings etc, and is easily stowed by wrapping it round your handlebars. Wish I had had it before my Brompton was stolen!

Great bike lock feels really sturdy and easy to use.I would have like the cable to be slightly longer as I tend to leave my helmet on my bike and run the cable through the visor, because its tight I worry the helmet may fall off and get damaged as its a stretch to tie it, but then again that's not whats its for.other than that great product.

Good lock, however its very heavy and the lock and key needed a good oiling as it got very stuck at first. However for the price i think its a good lock, nice touch with the light on the key and very useful, plus the lock is sort of coated in rubber so it doesnt scratch the paint work of my bike too much.

Good solid lock, does the trick for my mid range mountain bike. The bracket seems to work fine so far but I haven't taken the bike through any rough terrain with the lock attached, so not sure if the plastic is up for it. The cable is quite short but alright to lock it up on a stand, lamppost, etc.

Seems good quality - not broken into yet. Word of warning though - the clamp to hold to the bike failed within a couple of weeks (little plastic clips). Failed I think because of the jiggling around. A splodge of hot melt sorted it and now its better than new (no jiggle)

Brilliant lock and great value.Very pleased.Fixes to bike when not being 'used' and I am sure this will keep my bike safe in London.Reassuringly heavy.

My only negative is finding somewhere to carry the cable, which doesn't fit as neatly as shown when clamp is attached to bike.

Superb quality at an excellent price compared with the likes of overpriced hyped up kryptonite products this is a no brainer.

I ordered this item as the other d locks where to big for my bike. This lock is nice and compact. It's a bit heavy though!
