This mask is well made, has very good reviews and when it is dry it fits my face like a glove. Even without the strap it stays on my face. I dive for a living so i have owned several masks. I have an average sized face and generally have zero problems fitting a mask. I was shocked when this mask leaked badly through two dives. I feel the problem is that the skirt is soft and any facial movements cause the mask seal to shift and water comes in. I don't mean like smiling or laughing which always caused a mask to flood, I mean the minute changes that happen when you turn your head or look down or clear your ears. I was really surprised and disappointed.

Very low profile...enough so to allow for peripheral vision, which is important when spearfishing. Not sure what others are doing wrong with the fogging, I use Arm&Hammer toothpaste as an anti-fogging measure and have never had a problem. I could see that people with XXX mugs might have a problem, because of the low-profile, but this mask works for the both of us. I free-dive/spearfish regularly (1-2 times a week year round) and have had no problems. I lost mine recently on a scalloping expedition...I borrowed a friends and then I realized exactly how excellent this mask is. Needless to say, I immediately ordered another when I got home. I am just glad that they have come down in price since my initial (2)

I've had masks from Scubapro,Cressi sub, Atomic Aquatics, but this Oceanic shadow simply outperforms them all while being the cheapest mask,It is the most comfortable best sealing with no leaks, very very low volume for purging, fantastic vision, it also comes standard with a fully adjustable neoprene strap for DIR divers, that alone would set you back 20 quid from Halcyon.Not one bit of fogging after giving it a quick treatment with a cigarette lighter and Oral B toothpaste/electric toothbrush, by far the best method of cleaning the factory gunk of the inside of the glass I have found, don't be afraid of the lighter ! Just take your time and be careful,

I have been a civilian and military diver for the past 20 years. I had been unhappy with my masks until I came across this one. Low profile gives excellent visibility. Also, since it is a low volume mask, there is less water to clear when flooding your mask. It is comfortable and compact. I have seen other guys put a spare mask in their BC pocket and this one is small enough to fit. In my opinion, it is the best mask out there. Plus, it looks pretty sleek!

Best Mask I have owned. I have suffered with a leaking mask for several years, i tried this one and for the first time in a long time i did not have to constantly clear my mask during a dive. I should have purchased this years ago. I would recommend. The strap is comfortable, the low profile makes it easy to see with no distortion. Most of my dives are vacation dives and i use rental gear, this mask is easy to pack and store.

The mini shadow is perfect for the smaller female face. It took some work to remove the factory coating. I used a lighter to burn the mask a number of times, took advantage of some fellow diver's hot ashes, but once the coating was off, I've had no issues with fogging. I've been diving with this mask since January 2013, have logged 100+ dives with it, and it still performs exceedingly well. Definitely a great purchase!

Great mask, fits very well and the neoprene blackstrap is very comfortable and doesn’t get tangled in hair. This one is the MIni, which isn’t much smaller but fits women’s faces better and has less air space in the mask, so it’s good for diving deeper . This is my third one ( the other 2 were stolen) and will always get this mask, hopefully this is my last one! The clear silicone gives an open and bright viewing field

Nice looking mask with a very good fit. Easily removed, cleared and adjusted. All round vision is excellent. However the strap fittings on mine only lasted a year and then pulled away from the mould causing holes and leaks which couldn't be repaired. That said i am a diving instructor and therefore doing mask skills every day! For the price and quality you can't go far wrong. I am buying another as i love the mask!

This mask is just amazing - fits my face well, never leaks, is very comfortable, and provides a very clear and no fog view underwater. I must have a wide face as all the other masks I have used before this one have always leaked and made dives very annoying with the constant clearing. I like this mask so much that I purchased a second one as a backup

I have a nice dive shop nearby. I bought one of these before and knew the how the brand and make fit. I've tried on a some more expensive, "better" masks that just didn't fit or seal properly on my face.The quality of this mask is great, but that doesn't make it a good mask for everyone.

oceanic has some of the best quality diving equipment available. this mask is extremely comfortable and the view range is awesome. I have had a lot of dives with this mask and a lot of memories I have no intention of retiring this mask any time soon.

Seals really nice, the low profile makes it extremely easy to clear underwater with minimal air. Kinda pricey but it's better than getting a cheap mask with problems. You'll have to treat the glass to keep the fogging down otherwise it's pretty good.

This is the 4th Shadow Mask I've bought, it has a little problem with fogging which is cleaned off with past tooth past(the old kind). Keep it cleaned with Baby shampo. Great for cave diving, rescue, ice diving and everyday diving.

Item as described and fast delivery. I am looking forward to trying out the mask next year but having tried it on it appears to have a great field of vision and be very comfortable

This has been a good mask the 3 dives I have used it for. It needs lots of toothpaste scrub on the inside so it won't fog up down under, but other than that- it's a good one.
