The fit on these is excellent for a pair of winter shoes: you need a looser fit to allow for thicker socks. First impressions are that I don't know how I'm ever going to lever my feet into them, and once they're on how on earth will I get them off. It is possible and you learn the technique, and they do ease off after a few wearings. My feet are always cold an I generally wear overshoes from October to May; with these shoe and a pair of Woolie Boolie merino socks my feet are almost too hot down to 7deg C. I have tried out the waterproofing in a total downpour (only 10 minutes but enough that I was completely soaked to the skin) and my socks and feet were dry. I'm a size 8/42 and have an average width foot.

I also ride a bike in the winter so I needed the right shoes I chose the Raptors GTX and I'm very happy with the choice. Shoes I chose one size bigger so that I could put on two pairs of socks are best suited with an admixture of merino wool. With the extreme cold, the last ride at minus 8 degrees I put on additional protectors to improve the thermal comfort as I planned the ride for over 2 hours. Everyone must develop their own technique to protect their feet from the cold, I also recommend shoes because of the fastening system.

This is by far the best fitting autumn winter shoe I tried. I have a 295mm long foot and the 293mm fits great, even with a winter sock. Much better very grip and ankle comfort than shimano and specialized. I might see a problem for people who have a wide foot since the shoe is on the narrow side.

I bought this pair of shoes in December 2018. Yellow model because I roll a little at night! Ultra showy! Tested by -6 dry weather and under the snow. Rather satisfied, I gave up putting big socks otherwise I sweat a little. Hoping that they resist in the long run

Spectacular shoe! Comfortable, beautiful and does its duty.Only flaw is to put it on your foot ... you have to get a hernia every time? but the price is great and this product is worth much more ...

very happy with these cool shoes. I use them on my road bike in combination with SPD pedals and that works fine. and the yellow color matches the bike nicely

Well-fitting shoe, tightening mechanism good! -hook put on a "sock" on the leg.
