I have cold feet in temperatures below 10 degrees. That’s why I decided to invest in decent winter running shoes. There were a few problems in choosing the size. Bontrager and Shimano running shoes I have 29.7 cm in size. I already have NorthWave MTB shoes and they are 30 cm or 46. I ordered these winter shoes in 46 sizes, but turned out to be about 1/2 the number too small. 46.5 sizes are not available, so I would order new shoes in 47 sizes, which of course 1/2 numbers too big. I put on another insole and slightly thicker socks and with this combination I finally got myself warm and comfortable MTB shoes for cold weather.

After using another brand for 1 season, I returned to Northwave again because of a nice fit for my feet. Shoes are smaller, use 1 size larger. Prima waterproof and warm.
