The Academy18 Rain Jacket is a good quality waterproof jacket. So far I have not tried it out in very heavy rain, but in a fairly persistent shower it has served me well whilst out running. It is a neat fit holding close to the body without being too tight, which makes it feel more like a waterproof sweater rather than a jacket. Mine in Medium size (and I am medium build and slightly less than average height) would be a bit tight if I wore it on top of a tee-shirt and sweater. I don't mind this aspect of it too much as I prefer to run as light as possible to avoid sweating too much. Due to its neat fit, it is ideally suited to running/walking in windy conditions,

Having missed gym during lockdown ,I having been going out regularly on Power walks. I have enjoyed it so much I am going to continue ,even in bad weather, so wanted a weatherproof jacket .I could see from cheaper options,that they are nothing more than a KagouleThis is a lovely looking jacket, fits well and has breathable mesh. I tested only once so far in light rain. It was very comfortable to wear. It has nice high collar as well, so I think that even in colder weather, provided I wear Under Armour Compression Tops, that it will keep me warm.I am not expecting to be kept dry in a Typhoon but I have high expectations of heavier rain, given my recent experience. If it doesn't but keeps me dry in showers ,

Got this jacket for my husband to wear during the usual wet Scottish summer. He is normally a size M however I got the L as some reviewers said it runs slightly small. The L has gotA bit of room which is fine as he can wear a jumper underneath for warmth. The jacket seems a good quality and a bit nicer than the Nike park 18 jacket which is a lot thinner and more basic. This jacket has nice soft lining in collar and material isn’t than thin shiny rain jacket materials some lightweight jackets are made off. It’s a nice Matt material in a true navy colour. The hood is easy to pack away and covers head just fine.Overall I am happy that I decided to spend that bit extra on the Nike Academy jacket over the Nike Park one.

Perfect for running in all weather. Only water resistant but I’ve been training in extremely wet weather and I’ve always been fine. Fits true to size but is slim so if you have a bit of a belly maybe go a size up.Zips up from the bottom too which is great if you’re cycling.Amazing value!

Amazing, thin, light weight and fits well. Its also surprisingly warm, it deflects the wind really good cuz i dont ever feel a chill when wearing it out. The only thing that stops it being 5* is that its a left handed zip so its abit awkward trying to do it up as im right handed.

Perfect jacket - size wise I’m 5’11”, 79kgs and the medium is a great fit...nice and slim so no flapping around.So far I’m very impressed - run with it in dry conditions and waiting for my next run in the wet to see how waterproof it is?

Snug fit for a Large (I’m usually Large in all other clothes). But perfect for what I wanted. Goes over a sport top/T-shirt and keeps me dry and warm enough for active stuff. If you want it fit over a jumper/hoodie etc I’d go a size up.

very good jacket for the money. Good for light/medium rain and not too cold weather (padded jacket needed for very cold weather). Well made. the one I ordered was a bit small for my son but I am reordering a larger size.

Has a rain hood and zipped outside pockets.The main jacket zip is a little tricky to use sometimes with a two zip system but overall good for my needs with zipped outside pockers amd foldaway hood.

Really cool jacket, I find it almost impossible to get my son to wear a coat, but he likes this one!He’s a tall 11yr old and the small man is only a tiny bit big so wouldn’t go smaller for him

Highly recommend this jacket to anyone , waterproof is really good , jacket is light and warm even if there is only one layer of materials . Really happy with item, blue colour is really nice.

Excellent windbreaker. I would definitely size up though as they run slightly small. Luckily I had read a review to do this and so it's a perfect fit when you size up!

The jacket is absolutely beautiful. It's got a nice feel on the inside and is form-fitting. I recommend buying a size larger than what you would normally order.

My husband LOVES this jacket. He is a gym rat and runs some. He loves to wear this when running or anytime. Very nice quality, worth the price.

Got this for my son. The only time he doesn't wear it, is when it is in the wash. It washes up well. Very happy
