I've used this light through the winter and its been great. The fact its got the battery built in is great as it saves having wires trailing all over the bike, the battery life is also excellent. The fact you can buy extra 18650 cells for it is very handy for any long distance rides at night.I find the beam good but not great, I could do with a bit more light on dark Forest of Dean lanes. Plus if I set the beam high enough to get a decent range of light I then annoy oncoming traffic. The width of the beam is decent though.The build quality seems excellent and the mounting bracket is also hugely better than the cheap elastic band type mounts you get with a lot of lights.

Perfect in every way but one. It switches on with the slightest bump when in your bag. I hate to dwell on this one aspect as in all other regards this light is awesome. But if you remove the light when parked and pop it in your bag there is a good chance it will switch on. After happening for the third time I can’t blame it on bad luck. Luckily the last time I noticed the glow from my bag and turned it off, it had somehow been bumped to high and was super hot, any longer/hotter and permanent damage to either the light or melting stuff in my bag could have happened. I think there is supposed to be a thermal cut off but the front metal portion was too hot to touch which can’t be good for it.
