Brought this as I'm on the 18 volt platform and thought I would make use of my spare battery, I really like compact inspection/ area lights for plumbing so at the price point I thought I would give this a go.I already own the Ryobi and Makita inspection lights so in comparison to them, this Milwaukee is probably the most ergonomic to hold & most robustly built but has very limited use with the lamp only being able to pivot upon its verticle opening hinge about 45° from straight up to straight ahead, has one light setting that lights a circular area with the work light being dimmer then the ryobi and the makita(although I prefer the soft glow as suppose to the blinding white of stronger lights and can be replaced)

My main reason for purchasing this torch was to make use of the high quality Milwaukee Li batteries, which I already have and charge quickly. With the batteries sattached the unit is base heavy and therefore quite stable. The beam can be rotated up and down, and side to side by rotating the heavy base on a flat surface. The beam is quite bright, but there is no zoom which would make it even better.I bought this on sale, so it was a good deal, but not worth the full ticket price in my opinion.

Without the battery attached, this feels really cheap...Once the battery is fixed to it, it feels ok.There isn’t a focus feature on the lens which would be useful.Due to its size, it’s not ideal for getting into small places. I use it as a lamp to inspect machinery and for that job it’s sound.It’s. It magnetic so you can only rely on the integral hook which isn’t a lot of good really!All in all it’s good value.

Using this on my m18 batteries is a bit of overkill but i have no other batteries as yet ..Seems like a nice hand held torch and works well enough ...Beam is wide enough at 10 feet to walk anywhere with ( beach ) Torch is well made and the head swivels so you can place on the ground and point it at where you want ...5 star for sure

This is a great torch by Milwaukee it lasts hours on a charge. This is a compact design so it’s easy to store when not in use. Great for camping or fishing as it has a fold away hook and an adjustable head.

Good work light with handy adjustment at varying angles. Throws a powerful wide beam onto your work area and lasts a very long time on my 4 amp batteries that I have for my drill and impact driver

working on site with the worry of trailing 11ov leads... this makes life alot easer. its light, fairly compact.I think i may look at getting their big spot light at some point.milwaukee ftw.

Great product, does what it says,handy for all sorts of applications with the battery attached it stands well on its own so you can point it where you need it and be hands free to work

Excellent torch, very bright and lasts a very long time on a 1.5A battery, seems to go on on and on if fitted with a 4.0Asuperb, have bought another since as an xmas present

It's good overall, my only criticism is the head feels a little loose, not the usually Milwaukee quality, however, it doesn't affect its use and I'm still very happy with it.

It turns on. And it turns off. Has a hook in the handle and the m18 cells last longer than you will have patience for it. The head can be angled. No frills flashlight.

If you use Milwaukee power tools you are likely to have spare batteries and the fact that the light is interchangeable with these batteries is a big advantage

Very handy to keep with your Milwaukee tools as it very lightweight with out the battery in and is very bright,Stands very sturdy with the battery attached.

Not as bright as you'd imagine. The weight of the battery acts as a good base with the positional head giving directional lighting wherever you choose!

Excellent way to use spare battery from Drills etc 4mha battery provides many many hours of back-up lighting as a room light or task light
