Bought this for our 2.5 year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it! Will sit down with mummy or daddy for a good half an hour to complete all 6 puzzles. Although she still needs help to complete it I don't think it'll be too long until she can do it herself. Good toy for developing the concept of shapes/cubes without getting too mathematical! The only slight annoyance is that the completed pictures are displayed on the back of the tray so you can't refer to them while you're completing each picture (unless you did it outside of the tray). It seems very robust, the pictures are well stuck down on each block - will probably wear a bit on the edges and corners eventually but will take a lot of use before that point!

Really nice, well made, good fun - only critic is it's too hard for toddlers. Each cube has 6 possible ways up it can go, and whilst the edges are coloured to make it obvious, getting them all in was challenging for some of the adults (well, not challenging challenging, but not as trivial as most 30 piece jigsaws)! Our 2.5 year old essentially sees the challenge simply as getting all the cubes in the box, rather than all the right way round, and I think it'll be a while until she's taking that on.

Bought this for my puzzle loving daughter when she was 2 year old, was too difficult to do alone. So she showed on and off interest for a year, would sit with us and do it sometimes. Now she is 3 she plays with it constantly, doing the puzzle by herself, it keeps her entertained for ages and you can really see her using her brain to do it. Brilliant toy!

Yes it is simple square blocks with sticker pictures on each side to make the puzzles, but it is loads of fun already. Good, solid blocks, solid puzzle case square, perfect small hands size(mine is 2.5). Teaching co-ordination, colours, pictures, stories to go with the pictures and dexterity. All in all, money well spent, happy wallet, happy child.

I previously bought these blocks a few years ago and they've been played with daily ever since!Just bought them again for my Nephew to keep at home and he will enjoy making towers and arrangements with them until he is old enough to understand how to arrange the blocks to complete the pictures. Well made and worth every penny.

Beautifully made, sturdy wooden blocks, my 2 year old granddaughter spends hours stacking them into towers and when she is older she will be able to complete the beautifully printed puzzles on the sides. I love Melissa & Doug toys really good value for money.

Great value a change from our usual type puzzle! My only negative is having 2 boys that always want what ever toy the other has they can be quiet heavy and painful if you happend to trip over one! I'msure most parents do this on toys not yet tidied away

Bought for granddaughter, she loves this. Trickier to complete than you would expect and heavier too as the blocks are solid but very well made. Played with very often and standing up to the use very well.

It's a nice toy and for the price I didn't expect that the cubes would be painted. Most of the stickers are nicely adhered to the cube's sides with a few minor exceptions hence the 4*

Such a great puzzle. 6 different animals. Very educational and keeps little one entertained for hours! The blocks double up as tower building materials :)

Lovely traditional wooden cube puzzle. Much larger than anticipated and chunky and solid. Good fun pictures to make of all the common farmyard animals.

Like all M&D toys this one is colourful, beautiful and above all good fun. The animals are gorgeous and I love the fact that the toys are wooden.

Bought has a christmas present. So havent opened yet. Looks lovely 8n the plastic. Colours nice and bright. Blocks a good size for little hands

Product is super nice but delivery people from hdnl were horrible , not nice almost shouting , not polite and of course not delivered on time.
