This is my 3rd Lowrance Ice Machine and I love them! The Hook5 has been a very nice upgrade from my Elite4. GPS and mapping are a very nice add. The down side is the down scan does not work on the ice. Pretty disappointing as this was pushed through the marketing material. Also the unit came with NO operational instructions and if I was a new user I would be lost as I was with my first Lowrance. Need to include better operating instructions. YouTube was not helpful unless your using it on a boat. Overall still love the product.

Used 3 times ice fishing love the unit. It does everything I need. Only down sides to this package is the transducer only runs in 200khs you can not get the 83khs option for a wider cone to look for fish. The screen has frozen on me a few times but seems to correct itself within a few min. All in all its worked great for me though.

Works great little hard to figure out a few of the auto shut offs but other than that great
