This tape is dope! I have a 2013 Fuji Roubaix 1.3C that came with tape made by Fuji's in house brand called oval. Stuff didn't hold up for the first three months of ownership so I did some research on tapes and this stuff seemed like the right choice. I am not disappointed. I went with the 3.2cm thickness for deeper dampening and I'd have to say that it works as described. Don't need to wear gloves when I'm riding. The feel is amazing and the look is totally legit. We'll see how long it lasts before I have go buy more. The installation process was not hard. I'm a beginner at road bikes and I installed this stuff my self. My first time wrapping road bike handle bars and I got it right.Just check out YouTube videos on how to wrap lizard skin bar tape and you'll be fine. Also, I botched the first wrap attempt and was able to take off the tape and wrap it all over again and the stuff held up like a champ. There was some stickyness after I rewrapped however just follow the cleaning instructions they give you in the manual and problem solved. I'm so satisfied with this buy. I'll stay using this brand forever.

If you follow the directions you are not supposed to stretch this bar tape too tight or it will delaminate.I don't have that issue that others complain about. The only thing I do not love about this tape is that the pattern really grips and holds dirt..it is nearly impossible to clean and the tape looks old fairly quickly if you do not wear gloves, one ride without them the sweat from your hands will stain them and there is no coming back from it, I have tried everything to clean them back up to no avail. I will just go with a darker color next time. Aside from that they are super comfy and really cushy which I love. I may just keep this tape and double wrap over it with thinner tape

This is great tape - second only to Fizik glossy microtex for washability (important for white tape) - but superior for cushion and grip (I only use gloves under 45F)And a note for all you people who get premature wear and delamination : this is the reason you don't stretch Lizard Skins tape - this weakens the polymer coating causing separation and peeling. Even if you have installed bar tape many times before and "know what you are doing" ... stop complaining because the tape is failing because you failed to follow the directionsI'm not being "judgy" since I made the same mistake in the past - but since have no problem getting thousands of miles from this tape

Grippy, super thick, and provides tons of cushion. The thickness and the fact that the manufacturers state that you shouldn't stretch the tape when wrapping make it a little trickier than regular cork or a thin leather wrap, but it's not a real problem.I actually put this on my old cyclocross-turned-commuter/trekker bike to clean it up before selling it, so I haven't ridden with this tape much outside off the trainer, but I'm sure it would be real handy for anyone who is more sensitive to road vibrations, or those that just like to squeeze the hell out of their bars and like that tactile feedback.

Great stuff. Never wrapped handles before and got these installed on the first try. I'd suggest watching the youtube video regarding the installation since it can get tricky. Make sure you leave plenty of excess when you start so when you tuck it into the tube it comes out cleanly. I went a bit light on my first handle and there's a little gap but still works great.Only issue i had was that the vendor provided "finishing strips" were' super sticky so i put a clamp on them to let them adhere better. After a couple hours they were good.Anyway, great feel, nice and tacky. Great color.

Works well for me though I had to re-wrap it a couple of times with less overlap to get it to reach the correct part of my handlebar, would have been better if it was a few inches longer. Padding is comfortable and it increased the grip circumference which I desired as I have very large hands. Looks good though I didn't use their bit of tape with their advertising logo for the end of the wrap on the top of the handlebar as I am not big on advertising for companies unless they want to sponsor the ad. (note: I prefer clothes without logos for the same reason.)

I definitely like these better than the traditional foam/cork tapes. It is fairly soft like the foam versions, but grips way better. I have also noticed a difference in the amount of drifting the tape does. Past tapes tended to slide around some after long rides, especially on hot days or if I got them wet. I think the rubber helps keep the tape secure and it resists water. It is also much stronger than other tapes meaning you can wrap it on your bar tighter, and it holds up better if you were to wipe out.

So far I love this bar tape. I have really big hands for my size, and I like to do long rides. Standard cork tape ends up a little small for my taste, and gets pretty uncomfy after around 50 miles. Double-wrapping the bar is sort of awkward, and the tape seems to get tattered more easily, so I thought I'd try the 3.2mm DSP tape. It definitely has a thicker, squishier feel to it, and it takes a few rides to get used to, but once you do it's really nice. Very comfy and shock-absorbing.

I'm sure it works better for a regular handle bar setup, but as I am using it for an adapted hand powered bicycle, it does not really do the job as it comes. If it had better adhesive on the back it would not be an issue, but for my needs I will have to use an adhesive to attach the product. The thickness is good, adds a nice padding to the grip, and the grip factor is nice too. Once I get it all figured out and attached more permanently it will be just what I need.

This is, by far, my favorite bar tape to date.I generally ride 20mi+ casual tours, and this tape helps tame the numbness on my fingers and wrists quite a bit. The tactile feel of the tape is a cool rubber/vinyl mix. The 3.2mm thickness does seem pretty thick compared to corktape. If you like to "feel the bars" when you ride (cotton tape riders) this is NOT the stuff for you.I've used both the black and white. The black is my standard on all bikes now.

I highly recommend this bar tape. There is plenty of extra tape to allow for errors or generous overlap. The feel is soft and very grippy. I have not had any problem with the color staying white. The only (very minor) drawback is, since the tape is so comfortably thick, it is a little hard to plug it into the bar ends effectively. But not so hard that it cannot be done. I think I am now a Lizard Skins customer for life.

My hands go numb from compression over the median nerve whenever I ride. I have tried all types of bar tape, special gloves etc. and they still go numb. This bar tape combined with Fizik bar gel, my hands only go slightly numb. This is the best solution I have found thus far without CTS surgery. I am pleased with this product and find this tape the most comfortable of all the bar tapes I have used thus far.

I purchase this tape for my Surly Long Haul Trucker because I wanted the extra cushioning for the Dempster Highway. This tape did the trick for me too! No soreness in the wrists at all! No fingers going numb! I wish I had used this on my longer ride from Sterling, Alaska to Victoria B. C. several years ago. I did get some numbness on that trip. I highly recommend this tape!

I have had problems with numbness and cyclist palsy so I was looking for tape with a little extra cushion and now I have found it. Along with the added cushion the tape doesn't get slick from sweaty hands. I have ridden about 100 hours with this tape and I am thoroughly impressed. A little more money than some but definitely worth it.

3 years on Lizard Skins and I love them. I like a fatter grip since I have a very solid/non-flexing front fork and need some shock absorption. I also like the feel of a substantial bar, not a skinny one where my fingernails embed themselves into my palms when climbing. Stay sticky for months. Just feels good and easy to wrap.
