I decided to purchase this UV shelter to protect the kids on the beach. When it turned up I was surprised how small the carry case was. The shelter itself is very easy to put up(I would recommend trying it in the garden first!). It comes with 3 collapsible poles which are easily fed through the shelter material. The poles are then tensioned and secured in eyelets at the end of each run. These look to be built well and to withstand the tension of the rods. The pack also comes with pegs to secure down,but you can also use the in-built sand holders.Size wise, my 2 year old boy could easily stand up in it and I could lie down inside with him(5'11") and my other 7year old child.

I bought this shelter to protect my 11 month old daughter from the sun when she's in the garden and on the beach & I'm really pleased with it. It has had several outings in the garden since it arrived & stays relatively cool inside, even in the midday sun. The design is nice and it seems to be very robustly made, as it stayed put on a really windy day (using the tent pegs to anchor it to the grass - I haven't tested it on the beach yet, but it has sand pockets to weigh it down). The shelter is easy to put up - only takes me a few minutes & I'm normally useless at putting things together - & packs down very easily into the small bag provided. It's also very lightweight and easily transportable when packed.

It took me a while to research which beach shelter to buy.. some seemed too cheap & others too expensive with complex mechanisms (and high-scoring reviews by people who hadn't even bought the product!). This one recently cropped up online & I liked the look of it.. it's relative simplicity of using tried and tested flexible poles, and the fact it completely zips up to protect the inhabitants from the British weather :)The bag it all fits in is pretty small (not as long as some other shelters), but it is relatively heavy (mainly the poles making up the weight). It isn't too difficult getting it all back in after it's been up either.It's quite easy to put up, although I'd recommend practicing a few times in the garden.

Much cheaper than other products like this that I saw so I was a little concerned that the quality might not be there; I need not have worried. Folds up into a nice easy to travel with bag that fitted easily into suitcase and on beach days in ruck sack. Once you have worked out how to construct it - I won't lie it took us a little while, but as is so often the way once we did we realised how easy it was and felt a bit daft - it is easy to put up and take down. The sand pockets for weighing it down work really well - tested out on an exceedingly windy day at a beach in Menorca. Good size inside too - baby, baby mat, all of our bags and room left. I can see this being used for a fair few years,

These are great products but I ordered thinking it was like the large one we already have... left my husband assembling it along with are original one that we've had for years, whilst I went to meet the rest of the family to bring back to where we setting up. It was a very amusing sight to see our original tent proudly looking like it had given birth to a small version when I returned ten minutes later. We had a chuckle not only at the speed of its delivery but also at my inability to understand the measurements. Mother tent and baby doing very well...

perfect size for family on the beach and certainly protected the little one from the sun.We used it in gran canaria and the wind was quite strong and obviously sun was strong. Once pegged down (you can fill outside pockets with sand) it didn't show any signs of flying away or breaking. good quality shelter to take abroad that won't take up too much weight and space in luggage.Only minor negative is it is a little fiddly to put up - just like a normal tent with those poles you have to thread through.

I bought this tent as a beach shelter for a holiday in North Cornwall.Easy to put up. Light and small to carry. Fantastic quality and well designed. On a very windy beach this tent was going no where!Other tents were blowing away.....mine did not budge an inch.We did make 2 extra sand bags and placed them inside just to add extra weight but the 6 deep sand pockets are more than enough.I'm thinking about getting the larger tent for next year!

This is mainly for my little boy while in the garden playing in his paddling pool etc. Just to keep him out of the sun..I was impressed with it. It comes in a zip up bag, with a bag with the pegs in & a bag with the rods in. But after putting it up and using it indoors, one of the rods pierced the actual tent and poked through quite sharply. It’s unusable now

Great mobile solution for vacations : really small package, we flew with Ryanair and managed to get it packed along the pram - so that alone shows how small it isVery sturdy design, has additional pockets to weigh it down whilst on the beach. Our daughter fell asleep in it as soon as we set it upWeights only 1 kg (2 lbs) so really lightbas well

Was easy to put up (bit fiddly in the wind but that’s to be expected) perfect for our daughter to have a nap and some quiet time.Couldn’t comfortably fit and adult in with her, child use only.It didn’t rain so not sure how waterproof but I imagine it would keep you dry from drizzle

brilliant just what we have been looking for . used it everyday on our recent holiday easy to put up and take down. very sturdy the sand pockets are a brilliant idea and realy worked. not the biggest size but fine for children or 2 medium sized adults would recommend

Super light, easy to assemble! Perfect for us. We have no garden and wanted to spend time outside but with a baby it’s not easy in warm weather. This has given us the opportunity to enjoy outside tome again without stress from weather and Covid. Thank you so much

Have brought this tent to take on holiday, not yet used, however, a quick run in the garden shows it's of good quality. Not the quickest to put up but not too difficult. Nice size for the kids to get out of the sun. Happy with the purchase and a good price.

We used this a few times in Cornwall after buying it. It's easy to put up, large inside and seems reasonably well constructed. We used it in wind and had to fill the bags with sand. It's great for privacy and also for anyone who wants to get out of the sun.

Love this beach shelter,was bought for the dogs to escape the sun on the beach,did the job kept them cool when they needed shade.Would be perfect for children as well.Easy time assemble and put away little holder I perfect to carry and light weight.
