My daughter (1) loves this car! And the new latch attachment on the door and solid floor insert means this can be used alot younger too! Daughter was using her cousins months ago with the floor so she wouldn't fall through, and the latch was stiff enough to make sure she couldn't fall out side. Obviously I wouldn't recommend you leave them unattended in this car while under say 18mths, but the handle in the roof meant it was easy to push her about in it, without slips!!But at 1 she doesn't use the floor, or the latch (her uncle built both this & her cousins, and thought the latch was too stiff for when they want to climb in and out) she loves her bruum bruum beep beep!Don't know why she just doesn't say car lolHer uncle said set up was easy, good instructions, the finish on a few of the caps etc are a little rough but probably only to me! And I loved the 'princess' number plate sticker! My only problem with this order was with delivery! Now it still arrived in less than a week as stated, but amazon sellers orders always arrive pretty sharpish for me, so I took the chance ordering on weds for a sat birthday. And as per, fri afternoon a package arrived, looking very small!!! Seems dispatch had put the wrong address sticker on my order and mr x's order, so I got his toy. Customer services were very polite and fixed it, it just meant the car didnt arrive until Monday when it would have been here in time for her party if they didn't have this mixup! But as I said, it was still within the stated delivery time, I just was in a rush and took a gamble!

Just bought the Cosy Coupe in pink for our 20mth old princess and she loves it! we bought this at a large toy store as it was on an offer so the price was very good. Our daughter was trying all the ride-on toys but this was the one she didnt want to get out of! When we opened the box, we were ready to pack it all up and return the toy as there were so many bits to assemble! I didnt think the instructions were that clear but found the manufacturer's video instructions on the internet very helpful. In the end it was quite straight forward after watching the demonstration. However some parts were difficult to put together and some could have been more simpler if it was pre-assembled in the first place!(I think they made it more complicated than necessary). Anyhow the toy's fantastic, very durable plastic. There's a safety latch on the door which stops them from falling out which is good. I think the original red and yellow colour is really nice too but it has got to be pink for our missy! The car's in the house atm cuz of the lovely weather, so cant wait to take it out the garden so 'princess' can put it to good use! I think she will have so much fun in it and for a long time too so again worth the money!

I have twin grandchildren (18 months) and bought the pink and red cozy coupe for their first birthdays. The twins absolutely love these cars, originally we kept the pink car at our house but they fought over the red one so much recently we have had to take the pink one round so they each have their own at home. They cars are so cute and the children love the fact they can open and close the door and they love to put their cups in the little parcel shelf at the back. The removable floor is a bonus as it meant the twins were able to be pushed around in their cars when they were younger, they have only been able to 'power' them by themselves in the last 3 months, hence the fighting over them. The cars can be a little unstable when the door is fully open and a child leans on the open door and as it causes the car to tipple over so very young children will need supervision. I think the product says from 18 months and that is probably the reason why. These cars are an absolute winner, my son who is now 25 had one when he was little and it lasted for ever, his younger brother and sister also played with it and we gave it away eventually when they had all outgrown it. This product is a total winner!

My daugher recieved as a gift for her 1st bday. Hubby put together (took an 1 hour) but he is mechanically inclined and used his own tools for the job. I thought she would be too young to use this gift but to my surprised she climbed right in (the middle of hubby still putting together). This is the only toy she is fascinated by and holds her interest for more than 2 minutes...try 1/2 or more! For hours, she will just stand there opening and closing the door, getting in and getting out. She doesnt' seem to tire from it. She couldnt' walk at the time she first got this, but could pull to stand and it was very easy for her to climb in and out w/ out boo-boos. She is now 15 months and still loves her car.She plays with it inside and gets in it for walks to the park. We had this car at our block party last week and the 3-5 yr olds were having great fun with it "driving" it up and down the street. It is so durable that I did not worry about it getting broken by neighborhood kids, and it was still in great shape when I brought it back home later that evening.

This is a classic toy that I remember from my childhood, in its original red and yellow colour scheme. It's now available in a multitude of different options and colours, and I thought it would make an ideal present for my niece's first birthday because she tried one at a friend's house and really enjoyed it. I should point out that the manufacturer's recommended age is 2-3 years, but my niece is a fast developer and with careful supervision we've found that she can safely play with the car, and hopefully she'll get another couple of years of joy out of it. Once built it's fantastic, but the only reason I am deducting one star is the time it takes to assemble.I understand that it needs to be sturdy when built so requires some screws, but I wasn't expecting to have to drill holes and use a hammer. Fortunately I decided to build the car in advance - if I had wrapped it up in the box and tried to build it on my niece's birthday, she would soon have got frustrated at the time it took to build.

Thank goodness I didn't leave opening the box until my granddaughter's birthday! I was slightly panicked when I saw all the pieces I had to assemble, in fact all you don't have to do is mould the plastic, I shouldn't have said that, it will give manufacturers ideas for even flatter packs.I still haven't finished it, I can't push the petrol cap in and the steering wheel retaining ring isn't retaining yet but I shall be getting my son to help finish it off. A tip for the manufacturer, having recently built a plastic shed for which all the parts were in packets bearing their part numbers, I think all flat pack sellers should take note.I notice several people comment on the roof problem but I amhoping once the screws are in place this shouldn't happen.I was so keen to get this for my granddaughter it is the first time I didn't read the reviews first, I still think it is a lovely toy but when you've actually had to build it you see its flaws.

I bought two of these, one each for my two little nieces, who are 2 and 18 mths, for Christmas. We assembled them on Christmas Eve and as per the other reviews they do take some time to assemble, especially two but the second was much quicker! They were both set up by the Christmas tree and the piles of other presents for Christmas morning and of course they both went straight for them with squeals of delight! They are such adorable little cars and the girls loved getting in and out of them and taking their new dollies for rides. Excellent value for money as the girls were so happy and they will last for ages! Cannot recommend them highly enough! We did have a slight problem with one of the headlights being cracked but the company sent out a replacement very speedily and the customer service was excellent (it wasn't enough of a problem to dampen the spirits of anyone as no one even noticed it on the day except the assembler!)

This is an absolute nightmare to put together. I purchased this for my Grand-daughter so I have had a lifetime of putting toys together. I also erect cages and hutches at work, and lots of flatpack furniture over the years, so I don't consider myself a novice. Thought this would take me an hour. It took Three and Half hours. I have had to cut excess plastic off with a stanley knife due to the bad finish and resorted to hitting it with a mallet to hammer parts home. Its a shame Littlewoods don't offer a put together service for this item. With hindsight I would have purchased a second hand one that had already been fitted together or at least done it on a day when I could have had a drink. All that aside I am so pleased with the finished result so I suppose its been worth it. My grand-daughter will love it. If it wasn't for the grief of fitting it together I would have given it 5*. Also a great Price and a sturdy product.

We were so excited to see the coupe made in the pink coloring because our little 2 year old daughter loves all things pink. We bought the car as a Christmas gift, and she was so excited to receive it. We love that she can take it outside, and have fun with it inside also. Our daughter loves that she can "drive" with her own two feet and we love that it is easy for her to maneuver. We love the handle on the back that we can help push her around if she wants, and the cute drink holders in the back for our bottles of water. The only thing that we would complain about is that it took FOREVER to put together. I'm just happy that my husband had the patience to do so...I would have had a hard time sitting there for more than an hour to finish it.But, that is also what makes it more sturdy. Other than that we love it, and so does our daughter. It's a fun, durable product.

We have two of these cars and the kids love them. They are a right pain to put together, though. Here are some tips I've picked up:- Use a bradawl to start the screw holes. They aren't pre-drilled, so without a bradawl the screws skit around.- Get a good electric screwdriver, ideally with an elbow attachment so you can screw around corners. That will help when attaching the roof.- We used washing up liquid to get the roof on. It allows the parts to slip on with only a minimal amount of swearing.- The holes for the wheel axles were full of plastic burrs. I hammered through a large drill bit to clear them.- Have a beer ready for when you've finished. As I said, a great toy,but the attention to detail on the moulding is shocking. You can't tell once it's assembled, but it makes putting it together much harder than it should be.

My oldest granddaughter has had her red Cozy Coupe for a couple of years and loves it. However, when her little sister reached the age of 1, she wanted to ride in it. We had quite a few screaming matches before we decided there was nothing for it but to get another. Needless to say, big sister claimed the new one because it's pink and says Princess Coupe on the back. Her wee sister is delighted, though, to get the red one. Both cars were reasonably easy to put together although they took quite a while to assemble. They are certainly very sturdy, having been flung out of the shed, ridden round the estate, crashed into things, all the good stuff a Princess and her sidekick get up to.These cars are well-used every time the grandkids arrive, which is often. I love them as much as the girls.

My 1 year old grandaughter loves this pink car we bought her for her birthday in October - she loved her brothers black and white Police Car so we knew she would like this too. She loves nothing better than opening the door getting in closing the door then as soon as she is sitting still she starts to open the door again and get out, but it keeps her occupied for ages and amuses us. She also likes the fact she can lock her brother out if she wants to and remove the key. Little Tikes have come up trumps again - I could not afford to buy one for my girls in the 80's so they just used to get a go on one at Play School along with about 30 other children all waiting their turn,so this Anniversary Edition is brilliant, my girls would of loved it but instead their children are loving it.

This product is great. I purchased it because my daughter had road tested it many times and always headed straight for it when at friends houses. I found the assembly a bit fiddly, but pretty straight forward except for those front posts. My goodness they were hard to slot in, I nearly threw it over the fence! In the end I went on the internet to see if there were any hints or tips. I found this website and the comment stating that brute force was the only way and it worked. I put one leg inside the car and the other outside, placed a tea towel over the top of the post and pushed and it finally slotted in. I ended up putting the roof on at the end. It may have been simpler with 2 people. My daughter still loves the car,so the pain was worth it :-))
