I bought this torch to replace an identical torch. The switch on the earlier torch gave out after umpteen years so I was happy to buy an identical replacement.This is a heavy torch that provides a lot of light. I use it when I am walking the dog, or trying to find the dog in the back garden, so it is generally only on for a minute or two at a time and it provides a lot of light for those times. It would also be handy to have in case of power cuts.At this price, with a battery included, this is a good solid torch to have about.

This is a first class product and excellent value for money, the torch sells, including battery, at a price which other would charge for the battery alone. The torch is bright, well focused, very sturdy and in every respect 'fit for purpose'. Carry one in the car for emergencies, in the garage and the house plus a 1000 and 1 other uses. I'm happy to recommend this as a first class purchase. Following purchase the product arrived well packed and ahead of its due delivery date.Peter Ashley

When searching for a replacement battery (6 volt Type 996) for my battered old torch I found this for little more than the cost of a battery. Good value for a powerful torch. Torch and battery came in sealed packaging which indicated that four D type cells could also be used and showed a picture of a battery holder inside the torch, however this was missing (otherwise would have been 5 stars).

good value for money.old torch broke and we like to have one handy upstairs incase of power cuts.easy to use has good beam.and has battery with it so many dont .i turned it on and it showed up any cobwebs id missed .whoops.

It was swiftly delivered, it is easy to assemble and works very effectively. Its a very powerful spot light casts a good beam of light and is small and lightweight, so very mobile and suitable for any user

this is a brilliant item and beam is fantastic and came with battery and cannot fault this item in any way very good quality and priced below what i believe its worth so jump on the bandwagon

Torch gives a very powerfull beam very happy only thing buy spare battry as the one that comes with it only last a short time (we dont know how long its been in torch ) but very good buy

good tool for those dark places, strong and bright. carefull not to drop it as the plastic is very rigid and breakable. good price and good value.

send these things to poor village in south east asia always useful but have to send regular battery replacements as they cant afford them

Bought as gift, so not unpacked until Christmas. Looks great and easy to operate. Light to carry and excellent value.
