This notebook has freed my scattered mind from worrying about tasks and events I may have forgotten and allows me to take a big picture view of the coming weeks and months.I disagree with reviews saying the paper is too thin. You're not meant to use this as art paper to draw and paint on! the purpose of this book is as a pragmatic note book. If you're drawing all kinds of decorations and such that might be ruined by ink on the other side of the paper then you are absolutely missing the point of bullet journaling.I like the thickness of the paper since it is light and easy to turn and flick through. I bought a thicker dotted notepad after finishing my first one of these and was sorely disappointed with it since it was heavy, hard to flick through and just no fun to use. Also the ribbons are very useful for keeping your place. I tried installing my own ribbons in another notebook but they don't really compare to ribbons that are made as part of the book and there are no other notebooks I know of with three ribbons.Overall I love this notebook and may have to buy a lifetime supply incase they stop producing them.

I’ve tried many journals from many sources. Ultimately, all I want is a journal that’s robust enough to stand the rigours of daily use - multiple open/close actions without falling apart in 2 days, a reasonable thickness, decent paper that doesn’t bleed through etc.Overall this journal ticks the majority of those boxes for me. The partial exception is “bleed through”. Now, to be clear, this journal doesn’t have a huge issue in that area. The paper is quite good. However, some pens do bleed through - probably my choice of pen rather than the paper and I’m still experimenting. The journal has some nice features eg the numbered pages and the index - it’s a bullet journal after all. However, these are useful even if you’re not really into bullet journalling and simply using it as a journal eg for work etc.Overall I’m happy with it. A bit pricey but I guess you get what you pay for. I’ve paid less and the item has fallen apart within a week of normal use etc.If in doubt I’d recommend giving this a try.

Love my bullet journal - it's lightweight but durable and has three bookmarks which means I can have easy access to the monthly and weekly spreads that I do as well as the current tracker I've got goingThe index is already printed and all pages are numbered which makes life so much easierThere is a comprehensive guide at the back which is very helpful especially for anyone new to bullet journals.I absolutely love the pocket at the back, I've been able to keep a few notes there without loosing them before transferring the information into the journalThe dots are my favourite thing of all - keeps my writing neat and allows me freedom to chose how to border and table thingsSuper happy with mypurchase and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get organised

This is the original bullet journal that is used and advertised on bulletjournal.com. Like all LEUCHTTURM1917 notebooks the paper quality is great with little ghosting and no bleeding during the month I've been using it.It's a good size - portable but also big enough to actually be of use. It also contains instructions in the back, built in index pages and page numbers (features of all LEUCHTTURM1917 notebooks) as well as 3 page markers. The dots are very unobtrusive but useful as a guide, they don't impact the overall look of a page at a glance. The cover is strong and protective as well as smooth and a little glossy and the elastic closing is off good quality too.I use the LEUCHTTURM black pen loop (

I was looking at bullet journalling and spend a good bit of time doing research on where to start. Being the notebook that was recommended by Ryder Carroll I thought I'd start off with it.Overall, it's good. I do like that it's got everything there to get you started. It's just the thickness of the pages that I feel could be better. As there's a bit of ghosting going on. I use Pigma Micron pens with it, and find that you can definitely see through to the other side of the page. To a degree I don't mind this, as it just makes the book feel properly used, but there are times when I wish it was better. When I've filled this one up,I may look to another brand with thicker paper than come back here.

I bought this as a gift for a person who has been using the bullet journal system for around 6 months, using her own, unbranded, plain jotters. She is absolutely thrilled with this book. She likes the layout, the page numbering, the "dots" on the page which, apparently, is particularly good for bullet journals.I love my Moleskine notepads so I purchased Leuchtturm 1917 with some hesitation but the quality of paper and features is comparable - and may even be better. Like the Moleskine, there is a useful, gusseted pouch on the inside back cover. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

If you are looking for your first Bullet Journal, I don't see why you would get anything else. The LEUCHTTURM1917 is an absolute classic, combine this with notes and legends on the act of Bullet Journaling and you pretty much have the perfect first Bujo. This has gone everywhere with me for the last 5 months, and I'm not gentle. It's a workhorse and can take a bit of a beating thanks to the hard case. Paper quality is good, and thanks to the Bullet Journal tie in, has a pre-laid out space for all the usual sections (index, future log, symbol key etc.). Can't recommend enough.

As a self confessed notebook geek I had to have a one that is specifically designed for bullet journaling (something I've been doing for years, but now it has an official name and seems to be all the rage!). Full 'instructions for newbie bullet journalers at the back, an expandable pocket and 3 (yes, 3!) ribbon markers which are so useful. Excellent quality as you would expect from Leuchtturm1917 - my fountain pen writes beautifully on the lovely dot grid paper (no bleed). There are 240 numbered pages to fill and I will take great pleasure in doing so. 5 stars!

I'm still getting into the hang of bullet journaling, so this notebook definitely helps a beginner like me! The pages aren't very thick so be wary of the kinds of pens you use. Apart from that the cover and notebook overall is of very good quality and gets the job done. The key at the front is a good reminder, and you can even create your own custom bullet types to use how you like.I would recommend downloading the Bullet Journal Companion app alongside this so you can really create a routine for yourself when starting out.

I'm new to bullet journaling but did some research before buying this one. This is a quality product - lays open and flat on the desk. The pages are a little thin, but it's not a big deal.Choose your pen wisely - I've got a couple of smudges that are annoying because I didn't have a good pen to start with.I like the flexibility of setting up a planner in my own style but the information at the back of the book and the key are really useful to get you started on the basics of bullet journaling.

This is the only brand of bullet journal I use and I couldn’t resist getting this beautiful blue version (previously only had black). I write with either a fountain pen or pencil and the paper is very good quality - no ink bleed or marks when rubbing out pencil. Three ribbons which are so useful and lots of numbered pages. This is probably the tenth Leuchtturm bullet journal I have used and will no doubt be buying many more

I don't know why it's never occurred to me before to keep all my ideas in one place but the bullet journal allows me to do just that in an organised manner! I love being able to reach out to the online community of bullet journal users, too! The paper does let some designs bleed through but honestly I don't even mind, it almost adds to the character of the journal. Been using mine for 2 months and already halfway through.

This is a neat journal with clear instructions on how to start it, but I'd also recommend checking out Youtube videos/Pinterest for ideas and extra tips on personalisation etc...N.B. The paper is a bit thin (I noticed this when using highlighters, as they bleed through quite easily), so do bear that in mind before purchasing if page thickness is of great importance to you.

Great notebook, fantatstic quality, well worth the price. Already laid out as in www. BulletJournal.com suggestion. Perfect for the bullet journal method of notetaking. It has really helped me clear my head of everything I try to remember. I have always used bullet pointed tasks, but this method and notebook take it to new heights. I will be buying more of these notebooks.

All Leuchtturm products are the best in what they do. The materials, the manufacture, the design, all speak of quality and care. The Bullet Journal is no exception. It is well thought out, soundly based on the principles of Bullet journalling, and it is a joy to use. I am a fountain pen user, and the paper quality is exceptional! And, as a bonus, the colour is great!
