Poles with strap attachment are a system, and any system is only as good as its weakest link. In case of Mountain Trail Pro the weak link is the strap, or, more precisely, the strap size - if it does not fit, the poles are of no use. This is where the problem with Leki MTP surfaces: there is no mention anywhere on Leki website that the strap size depends on the size of the poles. Instead, there is a tiny icon on Amazon showing that poles sized 115sm and below come with strap seize S/M/L, while poles 120sm and above come with M/L/XL strap. But even Amazon's description is deceptive: it shows the MTP poles with rubber power grips included,

Bought these as an an Ultralight upgrade from my leki Carbon vario. I've used them for over a hundred miles so far and they are as good as new. The shark grip increases trail efficiency as your hands are able to detach and from the pole quickly and attach quickly without effort. The glove is comfortable and the attachment loop is holding up better than I expected. The long Cork handle is a plus point, when the Elevation becomes very steep or when I am on a narrow cut trail that has higher sides. The bright small basket helps with awareness when planting the pole in low light or night hiking/running. Whilst racing, it helps with safety for runners behind or when passing.

I have not yet been able to use them off-road, but when unpacking you immediately notice that the sticks are of good quality. The glove is super, and you can quickly click and release. The long cork grip is useful when climbing, so you can hold the sticks lower. Am myself 1m78 including the trail shoes. Normally come with the 120 cm but have chosen the 125, because you have more room to place your hands. Now again good tests on the terrils and / or Ardennes.

These poles are amazing. I use them on ultra marathons. They are extremely light, very easy to use and very efficient. They fold/unfold in seconds (literally) and the straps are easy to adapt to any hand size and provide a very efficient power transfer. I ve used them on races ranging from 25 to 70 miles in the mountain. I actually bought another pair for my father too. They are a bit expensive but worth the money.

The canes are light and comfortable. I have been walking with them for a few days a few days a day and it is true that the knees and back are more rested, working the arms, shoulders and pectorals. I am happy with the purchase (The only fault I see them: a little bit is candalous when walking on cement or asphalt, they should have some joints or more tension on the ropes or other system)

It is worth paying the price that they are worth. Very light and very comfortable to fold and unfold, as well as quickly to carry them in competition. The theme of the dragonera is a pass, very comfortable to wear and does not bother anything to take several hours running with it on. In short, some sticks to take into account to compete in Trail Running races.

Last week my Leki Micro Trail Pro was delivered super fast. I immediately did the Grizzly Beartrail 100km as a test. AWESOME. Never go without these trail poles again. Click on and off, practice 3 times in the beginning, then it is blindly easy going. Lots of support and easy to improve your technique. Top product !!!!

Delighted with the canes. They are very easy to extend, pick up and hook to the dragonera; You can get to do all this without even having to look, so you can run concentrated looking at the path. The dragonera can be removed from the cane with the thumb of the same hand.

I only have to say good things about this product. Order arrived in record time to Portugal / Madeira Island. Quality product and excellent ergonomics, with the cork sleeve that brings advantages for use in low hands. Now it's time to scale and test to the fullest!

Package arrived well within estimate period with good protection to the product. The poles are great for Trail Running & pack away on your running pack compact & tight. A great ergonomic and comfortable design And the hand gauntlets work well.

Ditto that for Micro Flash, quality and excellent ergonomics, the extended cork sleeve brings a plus for a grip with low hands, they give confidence in terms of solidity and reliability .... To validate in time after intensive use!

Parcel delivered just in time to go on a trail. The sticks are very light, the gauntlet very convenient to use and the folding into three strands very useful. Only downside, the sticks a little noisy in use. Very good product.

Really great product. The glove fastening system is excellent. When I run with both sticks in one hand, they are really light. I recommend them to all runners up the hills.
