This bottle has made me feel like I have my first child. I love love love it. You forget how bad warm plasticy tasting water is very quickly after purchasing. It's encouraged me to drink more water, and the design is great.It is however worth mentioning that the wide mouthed 1l bottle does not have any additional drink cap options, so should you also want to use this for sports, I wouldn't get larger than the 750ml.I live in a hot country, and I fill my water at the water machine at work at 6pm, and if I still have some left in the morning the next day, it's barely warmer than it was when first poured. I consume a fair amount of tea and ramen at work, so I bought this for the size and the fact that it's made in Spain. The design is simple, but effective - the lid is secure and has not leaked yet (major win!), and the bottle looks elusively slim for its volume, while being super sturdy. I use it as a bottle, not a thermos; that said, every time I happen to put warm water in it, it seems like the temperature is the same 4 hrs later. It was kind of an investment to purchase, but well worth it.The green is a great color, by the way. I was torn between yellow and green, and I don't regret choosing green.UPDATE - December 2018: This water bottle is still going strong! I dropped it on pavement once,

Excellent product. Brevity review: Is it heavy? More so than your plastic bottle. Keep it cold/warm as advertised? Cold, yes, haven't tried hot yet. Does it leak? No. Any metallic taste? None. Does liquid or mouth come in contact with plastic? Well possibly liquid if bouncing around when the lid is on, but not full time. Mouth never touches plastic. Is it sharp? I got the orange, and it is stylish. Love the look & feel of it. Would buy again, and will probably purchase a smaller ones for my family. Is it worth the money spent? Let's not get wrapped up in this question, the bottle won't change your life. If you're in the market for a robust, mostly non-plastic, no metallic taste, not made in china bottle,

Ok for liquids. Keeps cool and warm nicely. Not really wide enough opening for food. There is another Laken product that we purchased that seems to be better for that.Update: We have used the and the larger size now for many months. The smaller size (12 oz) is perfect for our little one to use at school. Put ice in it and it will stay cold ALL day long. We ordered the flip top straw lid (which we actually use without a straw) which made even more convenient for our little one.For my husband who needs to drink lots of water of day because of a medical condition, we ordered the larger sizes and again using ice keeps cold filter water on hand for him all day.

About what you'd expect for the least expensive option. Color is true to the photo. The lid is all plastic so it will pick up the flavor if you use it for coffee or something. For some reason, I have a hard time getting the lid on straight; but that could just be me.I noticed that my bottle has a tiny little hole in the paint on the bottom. When I saw it, I wondered if it would affect the seal. My ice melts in no time and I don't find it insulates much at all. Whether or not that's related to the tiny hole, who knows?I was looking for an insulated stainless bottle that would keep ice all day, and this one is not it. I do, however, like the green. It stands out.

This is the eighth Laken thermos I have purchased. I love the quality, the fact that they are made really well and that they are made in a place besides China. This purchase was a gift for my Mom. She enjoyed using mine during a recent visit so I had to get her one of her own for Christmas. I have two 17 oz, my daughter has two 12 oz with sippy spouts for school lunch and my hubby has a 25 oz. We adults, drink hot beverages from them, use them as ice water bottles and also have used them for drinking beer on the deck. The beer stays cold much longer than in glass. I have also given my best friend and favorite cousin each one as gifts.

I LOVE MY THERMO, I use it EVERY SINGLE DAY. It is a great way to be kind to the earth and NOT use plastic. I will probably order more in small sizes. I got the BIG 34 oz (1 liter) and its perfect for taking to school and work and to the gym. Not recommended for activity unless you're taking it in a bag for hiking or cycling. Holding it for too long will probably make your hands hurt but I love the big wide mouth and the handle is great. IT DOESNT LEAK. I put it in the same bag with my macbook and I always double check its sealed properly and it DOES NOT LEAK. Love it, will possibly buy more.

I love everything about this water bottle. It's a smidge heavy - it's double-walled steel after all - but totally worth it. With ice it keeps drinks cool for hours even in the blistering heat. I haven't used it for hot liquids yet but I'm confident it will perform admirably. The carrying loop is sturdy and has a nice, smooth finger feel. I don't mind drinking directly from the lip of the bottle which was a concern for me as I hated the feel of the original Kleen Kanteen. I love it so much I just bought a second (for those all-day outings when 34 oz isn't enough)!

I like to make my protein shake with ice chunks in it to give me some 'crunch' while on a liquid diet. This bottle is magnificent! It keeps the contents exactly the texture I had when I put it in the bottle all day!. Bought a second one smaller for shorter time away from the house. The color is nice and the outside texture helps to keep it from slipping while wet. The only thing I would change is that the lid is easier to get cross-threaded than I like but not so bad that it detracts from the overall greatness of this product. I highly recommend this bottle.

Delighted with this. My office is out at the end of a garden and away from a supply of water. One 750ml bottle of drink in this, a few ice cubes and I've got a very cold drink all day. Even on a hot day, the contents are cool the next morning and still nice to drink. Build quality is exceptional - the powder coated finish has a nice grippy texture and appears very thickly applied. The drinking rim is bare metal but with a very smooth finish, comfortable to use. Finally, the lid fits well and I would happily trust the loop on a caribina if out walking.

was exactly what I wanted. was cheaper than a Kleen Kanteen and works just as well. The outside doesn't sweat or get hot to the touch. I've had no issues with screwing the lid as some other reviews stated. I've had no leaking issues. I was able to pour a grande starbucks coffee and this 12oz bottle was the perfect size. kept my coffee warm throughout my work shift. I wish all these insulated wide mouth bottles used universal lids but that's a personal issue and in no means a fault of this manufacturer. Would buy the other sizes if the need arises.

After much research, I decided on this water bottle. I have not used it yet, but I am so excited with, the color, the quality, and the fact that it is made in SPAIN and not in China. It has a nice handle "feel" and seems to be the perfect size for my needs.Update:After using this for everyday and trips to Mexico and Nassau, I still think that this is the most amazing water bottle I have ever had!It keeps my water icy cold all day, even if left in the sun of Mexico or the Bahamas! AWESOME! WISH I COULD GIVE IT 10 STARS!

Buy this product and quit worrying about the Chinese products contaminated with god-knows-what. These are crafted in Spain and are of superb quality, the way SIGG used to be before they moved production from Switzerland to China! I wouldn't dare use a Chinese thermos! No way! This product is well made of of highest quality materials. It works wonderfully well. I keep it by my bed at night for those annoying moments of thirst. Now I can twist off the lid and be treated to cool water at any time!

The bottle (34 oz size) is well-crafted and holds cold temperatures very well (have not had the opportunity to use it for tea or other hot beverages). Deliberately left the bottle on my kitchen counter for a day and a half, packed with ice water. At the end of that time, the ice had melted but the water was still quite cold. The powder finish and the striking goldenrod color have earned a host of compliments from my colleagues at work. Highly recommended. Fits perfectly in the

I love this Laken bottle because it's 25 oz size is perfect for having just a little more precious coffee at work... The 20 oz kleen kanteen and hydro flask models are just not enough! The loss of one star is due to the fact the Laken doesn't offer a cafe cap or something like it. The straw cap is no good for coffee, and drinking straight out of the bottle is awkward.The painted bottles look great too -- as long as you have a bottle brush they are easy enough to clean.
