The helmet is as cute as it looks in the picture; we have been using it occasionally for three months now (3-4 times a week for short rides on baby seat on the back of dad's bike) and so far it shows no signs of fraying as reported in other review. It comes with an adapter that allows to adjust well to the head circumference; helmet still looks big on my 21 month old, but it stays secured (First times I kept tugging at it to make sure it wouldn't slide off - it doesn't). It is lightweight but then so are all bike helmets. It covers well my son's head, and according to paperwork included in the package it complies with the necessary safety regulations for a bike helmet, so I trust it offers adequate protection,

Nice helmet. FIts my 2 year old daughter's head perfectly. well constructed.Most other helmets i looked at are designed either for boys ( must be blue or some other annoying boy motif) or are targetted at girls (of course in PINK!!!! or have other girly motifs eg fairies, princesses etc). Bought this one because i have one of each 3 years apart and by the time by boy will be on a scooter, he will be able to use this and my daughter will probably be on the next size up.

Thia is a great helemt for kids as it covers the head really well and can't be pushed back off the forehead like the more traditional style of cycle helmet (which we binned for this style). My daughter loved choosing the pattern and we are very happy with the more practical elements of the helmet. Highly recommended. We were sent the larger helmet at first but after a couple of phone calls the mistake was corrected and a new helmet came via express delivery.

Great helmet. I bought smaller size for my son's 5th birthday (52cm head circumference exactly) Mainly because I want it to fit him now and am not too worried about loads of growing room as I can't imagine him still wanting a police helmet in a couple of years!!!! He loves it and there is still room to spare! My 8 year olds head is still only 54cm so I can't see my 5 yr old outgrowing this too fast anyway.Arrived very quickly and we'll boxed.

This helmet works nicely for our 3 year old. The inside parts can be adjusted to fit a range of head sizes. She started using at 2.5 yo with the matching little Dino fossil balance bike. It was a bit loose then. I am guessing that the helmet will be useful to her even after she outgrows the balance bike. She enjoys wearing the helmet whilst using the bike. It is good quality and would recommend it to others.

Delighted with the purchase. The helmet is brighter colour than looks on line but is great for a child. This is a Christmas present so not worn yet however think the little boy who it is for will not want to take it off. Looks excellent quality and looks right for the job. I'm sure this helmet will encourage a child to wear one. Would definitely recommend the product and the seller. Good value for money.

Quality product with easy fit adjustment. My twin daughters had grown out of their Pastel Dotty version of the helmet in a small size and was so impressed with those that choosing the same make helmet again in the size up was an easy choice. Love the more grown up Splatz design.Excellent service from Surfdome, the vendor, who got the helmets to me in a couple of days.

We bought our 2 year old grandaughter a Kiddimoto Helmet for her birthday on New Year's Day together with a scooter. Absolute esentials. Helmet is adjustable inside, looks the biz, the design is just purpose built for scootering professionals (toddler grade) and later on it will be used in conjunction with a bicycle. Brilliant, couldn't recommend highly enough.

Can not recommend these helmets highly enough my kids have had theirs for 12 months now and they are fantastic. They fit securely to their heads, unlike most other helmets I've tried, are durable and hard wearing - mine get used everyday on the school run and bright and fun making your kids very easy to spot in crowded spaces!! Brilliant product!

Bought this for my daughter, who absolutely loves it!It looks good, delivery excellent, price fantastic and more importantly a very good fit. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the foam inner that protects your head from the plastic is a bit flimsy and thin! But nothing that a hat or extra foam won't sort out.Highly recommend!

I bought two helmets for my children and they both love it as it's easy to put on and the fit is much better than a regular bicycle helmet. It is very easy to adjust the fitting whilst the child is wearing the helmet. The lovely polka dots further encourage them to wear them as their friends are always complimenting them! Highly recommended.

We were after our daughter's first bike helmet that was cute and would encourage her to wear it. This certainly looks great, is adjustable to fit (she is a small 4 four year old) - and think this will be good for several years.She loves it to bits.Can't really go wrong with a funky pink helmet after all.Prompt delivery too - thanks.

Easily fitted to childs head by turning the wheel at the back of the helmet. Looks great and my 10 year old daughter can't wait to cycle to school in her spots! Really pleased, so much better thn the helmets which come ith spare foam to make smaller. Afraid that I cannot report on durability yet..so far though, Would recommend .

I bought this helmet at Christmas and I have to say its fantastic. My kids would refuse to wear a helmet in the past which worried me because I didn't want them getting hurt (especially when it was icy etc this winter). But when they saw this helmet they decided they were "cool" and now wear them all the time!

Very impressed with the safety features; doesn't just perch on top of the head, a low shape at the back, plenty of internal padding especially on the crown of the head.Easy to adjust the fit, with lots of room for growth.A good bright colour, appreciated by my granddaughter; immediately worn.
