Exact replacements for your Avid (or other brand) disc brakes. Pop out the old and drop in the new is all you need to do. Watch the orientation as one side has a slightly bent arm while the other is straight. I don't know if this really matters but if you're gonna do a job, do it right. Also, I suggest wiping down the existing discs with some sort of solvent to remove any grease or dirt build-up before installing. From my experience, you can't go wrong with Jagwire products.

Better price than any bike shop, I replaced these months ago and I am commenting now because when I went for a ride yesterday the rear brake was soft. Then I found out my chain lube had leaked on the rotor. After a couple miles all back to normal just the right braking pressure!

Good pads once broken in. Performance was very poor at first until I really got the pads and rotors hot to transfer the compound to rotors. Find a long (6 blocks or more) hill to break these in.

exactly what they look like -- reasonably quiet thus far and decent stopping ability.

These pads work great but they squeal a lot. Far more then my old pads.

So far so good. Direct fit into my old Avid mechanical disc brakes.
