Our old rechargeable , wind up torches were giving up so I was looking for an alternative. At this price everyone in the family can have a torch by their bed and in their bag, there's one in the car, one by the back door, one in the garage.....small, lightweight and surprisingly bright these little beauties have gone down very well. A simple push on/off button (at the non-business end of the torch) is large and easy to press - even with little four year old fingers or arthritic 80+ year old fingers. The light is a blueish white and is nice and bright - perfect for evening walks where there are no street lights and any other time you'd need a bit of extra light.Very pleased with these (as is

I have several pairs of non-prescription reading glasses kept in various places around the house (and at the office) as otherwise I'm constantly searching for them. I have already found locations for eight of these little torches - next to the phone, in the meter cupboard, in an unlit porch, by the bed and so on, so I no longer have to remember where I last put my 'main' torch. The light given out is quite sufficient for most purposes, and should I still manage to lose any of the eight, I still have four spares - as long as I can remember where I've put them. A really good buy.

The price of these12 torches was remarkably low. I was a little concerned because some users found that not all the torches worked - but someone made the comment that those that did, more than justified the price. In fact, of my 12 torches, just one failed to work - but the batteries and base switch were OK. The torches came with batteries, the range of colours (black, red, blue and silver) was attractive and the light is good. Excellent value fractionally over £1 per torch - batteries alone are worth that much.

Really convenient, easy to use, very good value and very bright. Every torch has a difficult to remove (tried removing it VERY slowly and it still leaves a nasty dirt attracting tacky residue) sizeable white paper label stuck on it with black scan bars. Unnecessary and unhelpful. Presumably some whizzy stock manager keeping track and wrecking the product.However, WD40 removes the sticky stuff after, carefully, peeling off the label, so at least the sticky residue can be removed.

At just over a quid per torch these seem good value (though not had them long enough to comment on their durability). Anyway, they all worked once the circle of card was removed to allow connection of the battery, and they give a bright light. If like me, you're always hunting for that missing torch to read the meter, look for something in the dark & etc., these are ideal to strategically place around the home so you'll never have to search for that torch again - hopefully! ;-D

These torches are great. they are very bright, very easy to switch on and off (this was important as they were party bag gifts for 4 year olds) and came already fitted with batteries.Our order didn't turn up, so I contacted the seller and they dispatched a second box straight away which turned up just in the nick of time (literally on our way out the door to the children's party).No idea what happened to the first box - but the response from the seller was fantastic.

Bought 12 and they arrived quickly. Really well made and sturdy. Just the right size for a goody bag for kids. Very bright and look a good quality item. Excellent price - more so when bearing in mind that each come with 3 AAA batteries that are already in position. Only moan is that the sticky label attached to the side of each torch did not come away cleanly so needed a lot of time to clean off the sticky back Overall excellent value and highly recommended

Sent for these to put in our grandsons birthday party bags, it takes a bit of imagination to vary them each year lol, we put in the usual other things, sweets, small games etc., the torches went down a treat ! The batteries ( included ) last for a remarkable long time and were very reasonably priced, this keeps the cost down. We also have always carried one in our pocket on winter dark nights and found them very useful.

This was such a good purchase! On dark winter evenings I found these torches so useful for going out to the rubbish bin, lighting my way to the garage, or just looking for objects in dark corners. And they come complete with batteries! I couldn't believe such fantastic value for money.

Real good products, gave one each to the kids and have one in the car and caravan. They are used regularly and are still going strong a year later, small and compact they are great to keep in your handbag in winter and we use for walking the dog.Bought on Amazon, less than £1 each!

Bought these to go in party bags for a kids forest party, perfect for the price point.Three of the torches didn't work straight away (included batteries), just needed to unscrew the top and pull out the battery spring a bit more to make a snug connection. Still would recommend it.

I bought these as party bag fillers for my sons birthday party. They are excellent value for money and far better than the plastic rubbish that normally gets put into party bags. I'm sure the boys will love them and we'll be left with a couple spare to use around the house.

These little torch are a must for everyone. Small enough to fit in any handbag or jacket pocket. Light weight, powerful and easy to use, great for little fingers as well. This is my second set of torches and will recommend to everyone.

These are great. Very cheap. Small and neat with a very powerful beam. Great for presents, especially for Xmas stockings. I keep them scattered around my home for when there should be a blackout, or the bulbs should go out.
