I am very pleased with this lead it is nice soft lead and very good to hold And the trigger hook looks very solid this has got the looks of a good solid lead you might think it is dearer than others on the market but I paid less from Ace leads and the trigger hook came away from the leather on its first use leaving my young Collie running loose on the path so I was not happy .I sent them a E - Mail and they did not even bother to reply. So I had to get another lead and this time I thought I would get this German one. I have also ordered their training lead so I can link it to her head collar. When she gets out of her Puppy stage I will be getting one of their round collars.

This beautifully crafted lead made in Germany oozes quality and style whilst being strong and tough enough to take our 36kgs Rhodesian Ridgeback for a walk. The Elk leather is soft and easy on hands and unlike nylon webbing leads or flat leather versions the rounded design makes for a good firm grip. I have osteoarthritis in my hands and bought this lead mainly for comfort but also for its high quality workmanship and durability. You need to ensure you maintain the leather as you would anything which is leading a tough life, but as long as you apply leather conditioning oil or cream this lead should hopefully give long service.

So soft and comfortable to hold, beautiful lead, wonderful quality. I have one for another dog, that I bought from the local pet shop for double the price.

Perfect size for my miniature schnauzer. Lovely soft leather. A little expensive but bought for half price so good value.
