Fitted this and it appeared to charge fine.Power supply was still connected when I booted up the computer - fine.Windows reported 'No Battery'.Disconnected power supply and computer kept working. But computer wouldn't turn on unless the power supply was connected.Then computer refused to run on battery at all.HP Diags reported failed/non-existent battery.CMOS didn't report a serial number for the battery (it should).After updating BIOS and trying all the tricks I could think of (I've been in the computer business for 30 years) I gave up, contacted the vendor and explained the situation.Their response was to ask for photos!

Bought this to replace the original battery that had start to expand and warp my laptop case. Within 2 years the same thing has happened with this battery.
