I purchased it to protect my panasonic camcorder lens but found it to be useless as It gave severe reflections and now have stopped using it but as filters go on other cameras Film/DSLRs they are great and will always use them to protect lenses as they are much cheaper to replace than a prime lens..

I have purchased many filters for all my lenses and nearly always buy a Hoya. You just know they are going to be nice quality and always seem to fit so well.

Great filter at a great price. The filter is of high quality and at this price can be left permanently on your camera so as to protect your expensive lens.

Superb quality filter . I have always used Hoya Filters because I find the optical quality as good as or better than the camera manufacturers.

It was just the right thing it stops the lens getting scratched its cheaper to buy a skylight filter than a new lens so it dose the job

Made of great quality materials, great coating, screws on really smoothly. What's not to love?! Would buy another Hoya filter anytime.

A great lens protector. Fit and forget and seems not to produce any colouration. Cheaper than a replacement lens. Get one.

I have a skylight filter for all my cameras and they provide a great barrier for dust and dirt to protect your lenses.

Pleased to say the quality of this filter matches that of Hoya filters I bought way back in the days before DSLRs.
