Great filter and worth every penny. Unlike other 10 stop neutral density filters, this one does not leave a colour cast. Experienced hands will know this but for those who are trying this for the first time, you will need an exposure chart to work out how long you need to open the shutter for. You will need to take a reading with your camera's meter and then reference the chart which tells you how long to expose it for. You then set this up on your camera using the manual settings option and hey presto! Some experimentation may be necessary to get it just right for your particular camera but as I have said, it produces great results.

Highly recommended.I spent a good while researching ND filters before I bought this one as the prices and performance are variable to say the least. I went with Hoya as they get good reviews for being colour neutral (important as I don't want to be fighting weird WB issues) and they're a well respected brand that I've used for years. I've used mine dozens of times on my Samyang 12mm f2 with fantastic results - just what I wanted and perfect results.

I have purchased some cheap neutral density filters in the past and been really disappointed with them. It seemed that with the cheaper ones as soon as I bought higher than about ND 8 the photos had a very strong red cast to them. Not so with these filters which are to my eye truly neutral. With this filter I am able to use some really long exposures and create some really nice photos capturing the very natural colours of the scene.Very pleased.

Purchased the ND as I'l more interested in pushing the long exposures, rather than just small 1-3 stops. As expected the product is excellent quality. Its a little warm on the colour temp, but actually fine for what I personally like.I've not had much time on the filter, but the shots taken have been sharp and no issues with it.Frankly for the price, great bit of kit for daylight long exposures.

Yet again Hoya have produced a 10 stop ND filter which is excellent value for money. I have now had chance to use the filter and I am getting superb results. You could spend well over £100 for the equivalent filter, you will get the same results with this filter. Highly recommended.

Good quality ND filter, works well on my x100s and doesn't seem to suffer from colour cast issues as with some budget filters. Not really had chance to use it fully in the field but very happy with it from the test images

Used for the first time yesterday. Zero colour cast and produced some excellent long exposure shots. The bezel is a lot thicker than other filters I use which makes it much easier to screw on and off

It appears to be optically perfect and without a colour cast and, as anticipated, it gives a beautiful creamy effect to the sky and to moving water. A reasonable price too. For me it's five stars.

Had the cheap ones, never again...This Hoya ND filter is the best for the price point, used it quite alot on vacation recently, no color cast at all in various conditions. Definitely recommended.

A perfect filter for big slow down of exposure time, ideal for use with moving water or if you want to use a wide aperture on a bright day and the cameras shutter speed is going off the scale.

Bought this for a recent trip to Valencia and used it extensively in the science park (lots of water and reflections). The images I got were all excellent. No colour problems or vignetting.

Amazing filter! I bought cheap Nd filters which really took the colour out of my photos however this filter does not do that. Very fast delivery also 3 days earlier then I was expecting.

The only fault I had with this was putting it on, threading sometimes took a bit long. I use this for long exposures of the coast and sky, no complaints at all about picture quality.

Certainly you can go for a cheaper alternative and hope that you can rectify colour cast in Camera RAW, but this Hoya doesn't give you all that hard work in post, highly recommend.

Needed for my photography course. I now own ND filter, UV filter and Polarising Filter by Hoya for my prime lens. All very good quality and optics. Really happy with this lens.
