I bought the 7.5cm version. It's a big mattress and very comfortable, the depth is more than enough to make sure that no part of my body is making contact with the ground with the ground when I sleep, but it's not so thick that you won't be standing on solid ground if you have to walk over it - a distinct advantage over airbeds in a smaller tent. The twin valves help to speed up inflation and deflation, but it takes quite a while for the foam to fully expand, and I find it usually needs a couple of breaths of extra inflation to make it comfortable. The mat is very easy to sleep on, I've had no trouble with either side being too slippery and moving around, even on wooden floors, but it isn't so grippy that you can't easily turn over in a sleeping bag. It's fantastic for use indoors, or in a tent when you're close to your car, but the size and weight make it impractical if you're having to carry your gear with you in any way. I tried strapping it onto my pack to see what it was like, but the width alone (it's 76cm inflated/80cm deflated) showed me that it wasn't going to work for hiking. I know that some of the smaller models 3cm and 2cm will fold lengthwise which would make them a better option for the times when you're prepared to sacrifice some comfort for something smaller and lighter.

We got these for camping on top of a camp bed. I can honestly say this has been a great success. I have had many uncomfortable nights in a tent trying to sleep on airbeds either too hard or too soft or deflating in the night. This really was comfortable. It can be rolled back up to fit in the bag with a little extra effort, I undid the valve to deflate and roll, then once as small as possible, I closed the valve to hold that shape easier. Great bit of kit, wouldnt camp without it. I can imagine, it would be fine without the camp bed too. It also did not get cold either and we camped in storm Katie!!

I dont find it too heavy, however, its way too big to carry around easily.Inflates in a few minutes, but I just blow some air in, so its quicker.Deflating needs some practice, but I managed to do it in a few tries, now it only takes a ccouple of minutes to pack away. Now about the comfort: Amazing! It is nearly as good as a bed.If you travel with a car, or don't mind the extra size (it is big) this is a very good choice. To carry all day, you'd probably be better of with something smaller and lighter.

I have only used this item once so far but I found it extremely comfortable despite reservations. Very easy to inflate and as with reviews for other types if not firm enough then just give it a few blows by mouth till it is as firm as required. I give it 9/10 based on my single use so far. Otherwise it would have been 10/10. I recommend it.

leave for an hour.....close the vents (or blow into the vent for added sponginess).....very comfy. Could not feel the cold of the ground. For all the 'nay-sayers' who are bemoaning the rolling up of this.........take your time and squeeze out the air....it's not a problem....really.

The mattress soon takes air in and gets filled up sufficiently. Good good thickness, and length and width for adult. A real bargain. We have had other similar mattresses but never been satisfied. We are now.

Price / performance was great, unfortunately the first leak was delivered and had to be sent back. Matte is very comfortable and insulated well. The hardness can be well dosed with after-foaming.

Great value and very comfortable. Bought as replacement for inflatable mattresses. More expensive but much more robust.Does take a long time to self-inflate though.

This is as advertised, but read the description carefully! This really is not a backpacking mat - it's heavy and huge! It's very comfortable, but it is *really* big!

Lovely wide bed mat, very good insulation from the cold ground. Thought it might be a challenge to deflate but it packed away very easily.

so comfy easy to inflate and take down - don't know how I've camped before without one of these - will defo buy another!

Extremely comfortable, wide, inflates and deflates very easily. Nothing to complain about after 1 month of camping.

Good mat but needs leaving out a good 24 hours for it to fully inflate to its maximum depth

Very good value for money. Rolling is easier than other self-inflating mattresses.
