I think this shoe’s saving grace is it’s durability. Before I bought this shoe, I just wore an old pair of Vans on my mountain bikes. I bought this shoe and immediately noticed how much stiffer the shoe is. It will likely take some time to break them in. I’ve had about 6 rides now, and my feet are starting to like them. I can’t say I’m any more impressed with the grip on these shoes than my old Vans, but really nothing wrong with the grip either. I will definitely say they provide a lot more protection than my old Vans. Like I said, they’re pretty stiff, but tough. I sometimes tend to hit things with my feet on the bike, rocks, stumps, branches, etc, and these shoes don’t mind that one bit.

The shoes are very comfortable and perfect for flat pedals. The sole is stiff, so perfect for cycling. But still has enough flex that you can sometimes walk a few steps with it. However, I wished that the profile would be a bit softer so that shoes stick better to the pedals. Use the shoes mainly in the pump track and for street driving. After about 10 days the profile was badly affected. I cannot judge whether other shoes are better suited for such applications and last longer because there are no references yet. For normal use, the shoes are certainly great !! I have Nike's size 47. This size also fits the Giro Jacket II.

If you are on the fence on which size to buy, buy the larger size. These were just a bit too small and I thought I could get away with it, but my feet were hurting after a few hundred yards. I had to return them. I liked the stying of the shoe, but they seem to be overpriced for what they are. I ended up with five ten freeriders and would recommend them over these, but the five tens are pricier and much harder to find. These shoes have spotty reviews about durability, specifically regarding the sole. The pigs appear to break off on pedal pins. I never got a chance to ride with these, so I can’t speak to that personally.

I'm genuinely impressed with these shoes. These were my first mountain bike specific shoes because they actually fit my size 13.5 foot!. The design could have been better but the price is on the lower end for mtb shoes which is nice. Initially they looked like they were going to fall apart because of an overuse of shoe glue on the soles but they've held sturdy. I'll likely buy another pair eventually unless more brands will offer size 13.5-14 which is unlikely. Thank you GIRO for thinking of the bigger guys.

Bought these shoes for mountain biking. I’m happy with the shoes although they are a little pricey but they are firm and stick to the pedals well. I have race face pedals. The shoe bottoms aren’t as soft as I expected but it hasn’t been an issue. I noticed they have way more support than regular gym shoes. Not as spongy. They are ok for walking but not so much for all day walking around. Better to have the spongy gym shoes for that

I must say for the money these are fantastic shoes. They grip my knockoff raceface flats very well. Super grabby, and my feet seem to stay on way more then when I rode with tennis shoes. They also seem to take a beating better too. 4 hard 2-3 hour long rides and they have almost no wear this far. Still look pretty new minus a little dirt. I'd highly suggest these. Also you can easily walk in these too which is a bonus.

Nice smooth shoe. I have narrower feet and usually MTB or skate shoes are too wide for me, but they fit well. I first ordered size 44 because in another review it said that they are small, yet exchanged for size 43 and they fit perfectly. So they fall mainly in width, they fall normally in length. I also have the Giro riddance shoes, and I have them in size 44, which are smaller.

Pretty good. Comfortable, true to size, looks good covered in mud. I haven't had any issues with the tread breaking like some people have mentioned in reviews and I ride pinned flats. Maybe they changed the material or I'm just not as hard on my shoes. They don't seem quitte as grippy as my 510s were, but they're better than some options. Overall, I am pretty happy with them.

I love these shoes. They're moderately durable. Super comfortable, I wear them every day. If you're reading this you're thinking "what". Mtb shoes are a preference. I prefer being stuck to th pedals so I wear 510's. But these are great and allow you to adjust your feet more easily. They provide moderate traction to my flats.

Awesome shoes. Have wide feet and there's plenty of room. On average wear size US 11.5-12/EU46. Ordered 12 because they were 46 EU. Could've gone with 11.5 for a better snugger fit, but they didn't have size in stock/available for return. Tacky bottoms, great looking top and so far great durability.Using for FR/DH

Firm sole distributes foot pressure evenly, feels like I can pedal all day in these. Soles feel very grippy, my only concern is I would have like them better in mid top or high top, these feel like they could possibly slide off in the roughest of terrain. Sizing is good loving these

Great shoe except when wet or if you are looking for a ton of grip. It’s nice for readjusting but with my pedals I find myself slipping in certain conditions more than I would like. Durability and comfort have been excellent.

Has fairly flat and wide feet and these work really well! The size seems to be in the smallest size so I had to take a size larger than usual. Good grip and stiff sole! Also withstands wet surprisingly well.

The shoe fits like a glove and pleasant walking. They have a very good grip on the pedals of my speed paddling which makes for very comfortable driving. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

Well I have been on three rides of +20 miles (actual mountain biking) and they are holding up just fine......nothing like previous reviews. I very very good alternative for half the price.
