Purchased as a replacement of my original pair of Empire ACC’s. I was torn between a discounted ACC and the knits, but I wanted to find something more unique in looks, and also better cooling. I’ve ridden the knits in extreme heat, and they are better than any shoes out there. Vs the originalEmpire model, this is a huge improvement.Stiffness, as some people have mentioned, is not an issue in the knits. To an extent, carbon is carbon. You won’t notice a significant difference between Giro Carbon models. Maybe they are a bit heavier, but a marginal difference.The knit material is really cool. Not flimsy like knit running shoes, actually a pretty solid feel. I’ve noticed in extreme heat/sunlight,

I left the brand SIDI with questions (size, lacing & comfort). Well, I'm not disappointed, the size (43 for SIDI or GIRO equivalent), the lacing is ideal for me to be more cool at the tightening level and the comfort is correct, I still gave my soles softer than I had in my SIDI. In addition, they are pretty pretty black coal, I am satisfied. For the delivery and the order on BikeINN, it was perfect!

Great shoes. Paid in duties/taxes though which is way beyond reasonable. Will buy local next time.
