After researching saddles to replace the ISM Adamo Typhoon that became uncomfortable, I stumbled upon the Fizik saddles. There are 3 basic types, with each type designed for your specific degree of flexibility. Being fairly inflexible (tight) the Alainte series was designed for me, I may add I ride a bit more upright. After fully reading the installation/adjustment sections and fine tuning the saddle pitch (2 bolt seat post design works best) I can say that it works very well for me. So much so that I purchased a second saddle for my other bike.

This is the saddle against all saddles can be compared . Highly recommended. Stiff and soft , never felt bad on long rides. Need to fit to seat post with easy micro adjustment, since it’s critical to line perfectly. Huge improvement from previous model .

The rise in the rear if the seat is nice compared to flat saddles because you can tilt the saddle backwards on the seatpost to lessen the weight on your hands and you wont slip off the back.

Not as soft as I had imagined but it is a lot better than my factory saddle.
