Bought this a few months ago for my granddaughter’s birthday on 6th October but was a bit apprehensive due to negative reviews from previous purchasers. Please note that it needs charging for several hours before use, unlike stated on Amazon’s website! Following Amazon’s instructions that, all you have to do is connect the head and connect the battery and off you go!, I wrapped the box without opening it in case my granddaughter saw it! Fortunately, my husband queried this and downloaded the manual and we realised it needed charging for 8-10 hours! Also, it was extremely difficult to refit the battery into the battery compartment! There is a YouTube video showing how easy assembly is but it isn’t!

so if being honest it is over priced but my 4 year old loves it! so thats all that matters!it does feel solid although it does look "plasticy" the hair goes tatty quick so it had to be platted.it does move fast as previous comments have said, on the handle is forward/reverse again previously commented on as mine did come set to reverse so also thought had a fault.main complaint is instructions not very clear, currently on charge and i think it says it takes around 10hr to charge and once done the light comes "on" on the wall socket? I will see in 10hrs...also referring to previous comments about the horn lighting up the horse not working the horn has its own batteries so not linked at all.overall its good but probably should be well under £150,

Bought this for my granddaughters 5th birthday and she absolutely loves it. That was the most important thing to me. There is a little bit of assembly to do plus battery needs charging. My granddaughter is quite tall for a 5 year old but is easily large enough for her to ride.If you want your gift ready to use when you give itmy advice would be to unwrap it, assemble and charge the battery first.

First Unicorn had a fault so got a replacement since it arrived the grand daughter and great grand daughter have had so much fun from this Unicorn we for got about the disappointment of the first Unicorn.Thats why we have gave a 5 star rating recommend this toy to every one

A lovely gift for my granddaughter. It works very well, a previous review says it only goes forward and back nonsense if you pull the reins it steers left and right just like a horse would!

Great purchase worth every penny our granddaughter absolutely loves it.It was easy to assemble and is safe and sturdy to ride.Highly recommended.
