I've been using this saddle for 3 years, and am so pleased with it that when I had a hard fall recently that bent it out of shape, I immediately ordered another as a replacement.There are other sprung saddles around but most of them tend to be very wide at the back. This one is sleeker than the others I looked at, and suitable for a men's bike. If you don't have rear suspension and do off road cycling, I strongly recommend this to save your behind from bruising. On a tarmac surface, the benefits of a sprung saddle are less noticeable, and the springs may even dissipate some of the effect of your pedalling.

Bought a relatively expensive bike from Halfords( OK I can hear you, alright A cheap bike from Halfords!). The seat looked great but so uncomfortable I was in agony after a couple of miles. "Don't be so soft" I was hearing. So off I went again, and again. I'm now so sore I can't even bear to sit on our sofa. Off to Halfords and have every saddle in the shop fiitted. Still not impressed even with their most outrageously priced one. One last try with good old Amazon and I find this little gem. Ok its not the prettiest but what a difference!. It's well made with ample soft gell and two large rear springs. However the big difference is the additional web springs under the centre of the saddle.

I had my old mountain bike stolen so the new cheap mountain bike I purchased had one of the those hard cheap seats which was hell to ride,fitting this one was like night and day compared to the old seat,its bigger then your typical mountain bike seat and even bigger then the amazon photo but very comfortable,it comes with the seat bracket and bolts etc so you can just remove your old seat and fit this straight in,it has springs like in the photo which are quiet when riding (in my case)and gel filled seat so you get comfort.I don't think you can buy a better seat for the price and you should be more then happy with this seat,glad I did not delay in buying it :) .

I've had two of these saddles. They give a comfortable ride. So comfortable in fact I cycled from Lands End to John-O-Groats on one without wearing one of those padded nappys cyclists use to prevent soreness and had not one jot of soreness on the whole ride. BUT that was before they changed the covering from slidy plastic to sticky plastic. The result is that your trouser doesnt slide against the saddle any more. Your inner thigh slides instead against your trouser and soreness is the result. I do wonder sometimes if whenever companies bring out new ideas that anyone at all actually tests them.

I bought this sadddle based upon reviews stating it would be like changing to an "armchair" on your bike, in terms of increased comfort!!! Errrm, not quite, as this saddle is still a little uncomfortable after long distances. It is however a VAST improvement on my old saddle, and based upon that it really does deserve the 5 stars. I did wonder, and for buyers information, this WILL very easily fit straight onto the stock on your old bicycle (whatever the make), as all saddles are a standard fit.

I have had this saddle now for 2 and a half years. It is still as comfortable as when I first bought it.It's very easy to attach to the bike. The difference is immediate as soon as you set of on the bike. It feels like your on bed of springs. Very nice and makes those long journeys enjoyable and comforting.I would 100% recommend.I have an apollo vortice bike from halfords and fits fine.Treat yourself. Great saddle

I did loads of on-line research and trudging around the high-street to look at bike shops (which in my home town seem en-masse to have to have moved to unsprung saddles). This is a really good product - its hugely comfortable with no seams that can weaken over time or hold water that on compression squeeze back into your clothes giving you that embarrassing wet-bum look! I fully recommend!

This seat is a vast improvement on the one it replaced. It feels very comfortable and was easy to fit to my bike. I have been using it for around a month with no problems. I am sure there will better quality saddles but I doubt they will be similar in price. For the money this one is fine for the job. And my bum thinks so too!

A very good saddle which I have used on trips up to 20 miles without discomfort. My bicycle is a racing model which I use on side roads which are more bumpy and this saddle makes my country miles more enjoyable. It also looks quite decent on the bike - I had been worried it would look out of place. The saddle was easy to fit.

This is an excellent product. The saddle is like a magic carpet. Pot holes, man covers, pavements are like not being there. Construction looks solid and hope to last a long time. Just in case I think I will order a spare one. Give your bum a break and get one.

Very comfortable compared with the bikes original saddle. Looks big when arrived but doesn't look overly large when on the bike. The websprung saddle appears to cope with all the normal lumps and bumps in the road. Very glad I bought it.

I can't agree more with the other review. You can ride for ages on this saddle. It's a nice size and would suit male and female, so what more could you ask for. If you like riding around in an armchair, go for it!

For the price good value, delivered on time and the main thing is, is that it is comfortable. I'm an amateur cyclist so an hour or so along the country lanes or disused train line on a summers day suits me fine.

I've used this for a few weeks on a road bike in Manchester/Salford and not felt any discomort so far. It is very spongy and is comfortable even on Salford's terrible road's

Very comfortable saddle that absorbs most of the bumps in the road very well. Makes a big difference in comfort when riding (and especially when I've completed my ride)
