These 'Esselte Heavy Duty Punched Pocket, Pack of 25, Holds up to 20 A4 sheets, Transparent, 115 Micron PP Material, 47187' are a packet of 25 heavy duty polypockets, for use with A4 (and smaller) documents. They are much thicker than the standard ones we use in school - as befits the significant extra cost - but are worth it for storing important documents such as master copies of worksheets. They do not crinkle in the same way as the cheaper pockets, but are still flexible. They are 'copysafe' and thus shouldn't end up sticking to your documents - it hasn't been long enough for me to be able to verify this, but they don't seem remotely clingy and I believe the claims.High quality polypockets, worth it for important documents.

It's annoying to get a lever arch file with poor quality punched pockets full of documents where the pockets have already started "sagging" from the beginning and after two browses, the holes have broken and the pockets are falling out or looking disorganisedThese pockets should not produce any of those problems as they are made from 115 micron PP materials and offer strong storage support.I've used them for filing agreements and accounts today and they are easy to open and feel durable. They have the holes expected so they can be used in different file types (e.g. 2 or 4 hole ring binders) and they are easy to get the documents in and fit up to 20 sheets. They are pricey, but it's good quality for long-term filing

I use plastic pockets a lot at work, so was interested to see what difference being, ‘heavy duty,’ would make. You get 25 pockets , which are capable of holding up to 25 A4 sheets – although I found that a bit of a tight fit.The sides of the pocket, plus the edges were more reinforced, then the thinner kind that I normally get. However, I did find that, especially if I put quite a few sheets in, the edges of the paper showed slightly at the top. These are strong, though, and, if you do not want to store too many documents in each, they will keep them safe.As they are supposed to be extra strong though,I would have preferred them to have been a little larger and capable of storing more sheets.

Yes I know we are all trying to use less plastic, but there ARE things that plastic does better than other materials. And the heavy duty nature of these means that I'm unlikely to be adding them to landfill any time soon.I have medium heavy duty pockets to protect some paperwork which is constantly needing to be removed from the pockets for additional note taking, and the thinner medium duty eventually splits, or the punched holes tear in the ring binder. These will last.My paperwork MUST be protected by plastic pockets, otherwise the holes get ripped over time, and hole protectors don't prevent the paper itself getting worn at its edges.Very happy with these

Esselte Heavy Duty Punched Pockets at £10.99 for 25 is more expensive than most pockets available- so are they worth the money? Of course, it depends on one's priorities; but if it's a high-quality, strong, well-manufactured product, then this one fits the bill.At first sight, I thought that being embossed, the pocket would make it difficult to read the paper stored within it, but not so, the paper's contents is easily readable. What is missing, is the light reflected off a high gloss finish and all the smears and fingermarks that are normally present on that type of pocket.A good product with the trusted 'Esselte' logo embossed in the margin - 5 stars.

These Esselte Heavy Duty Punched Pockets are more expensive than many other equivalent pockets although they are quite heavy duty and embossed. They are claimed to take 20 sheets although half that is more realistic. The embossing reduces reflected light making the documents easier to read through the pocket and reduces fingermarks. It also gives a professional looking finish for important documents compared with the more usual gloss finished pockets. So while they are expensive they are sturdy and well made, but if you use a lot of these you can get a lot more for your money.

Having gotten used to cheapo pockets that tear easily and rip at the first opportunity, these were (are) a revelation for me. They are proper heavy-duty with reinforced punched holes that would require a deliberate and sustained effort to damage them. They will hold 20 sheets of paper and due to the thicker 105 micron plastic they don't crease and bend at the drop of one's hat!Anything not to like? Well, I'd say that they are just very slightly tight on the width, so occasionally the paper will jam when trying to insert it unless the sheer is at precisely 90°.

Why would you spend £10 on some A4 punched pockets when you can pick them up for a fraction of the price?Touch them and feel the quality of them, then answer that question. These are far superior to budget versions. These are the kind of punched pockets you keep your CV in, or your dissertation, your rent agreement, your house deeds or any other filing you want to keep pristine for many years.High quality, high price - but still under 50p per pocket, which is not actually a huge cost to protect treasured documents. Worth paying the extra for.

Top opening Esselte plastic wallets, they are strong and durable, which is worth the cost (as of April 2019) - especially for those important documents or delicate papers that need to be kept and protected to a certain degree – or need constantly handling. These wallets will fit in most files and binders. That said, I have some folders from the United States, which these wallets will not fit. I must say that ‘by and large’ Esselte make good plastic wallets, therefore recommended.

Ever come across an email or document that was so strongly worded, that if it escaped would cause Gojira scale mayhem? Well these embossed, tough plastic wallets will hold and restrain the most problematic documents. But, more practically to the reader of this review, this is a good value pack of these often indispensable items of stationary. I do teaching training and they are invaluable when putting together 'packs' for learners. You, I am sure, will have your own applications

So useful for son doing his exams and his coursework all can be seen clearly and in order with these punched pockets. Fits his A4 files and no creased papers. Also use them myself for doing my own paperwork and think them good quality not had any rips of the holes whilst using them and they feel not too flimsy. I would say they are worth the money as son transports his work back and too and they seem to be standing up to it without any damage to them hole wise.

Useful for an exterior working environment, these heavy duty pockets will keep paperwork much better protected. You can't get more than a few pages inside, but that may not matter to you. For protecting A4 to the highest level yet allowing readability, easy access, these will work very well. We use them aboard a boat for which they are perfect. Also for pinning up instructions, where laminating is not possible, they will be ideal.

Even though the boxes I received were not exactly as pictured (they were of an equally nice gray and white pattern), they contained the same ESSELTE quality I have been using for years now.The box is a very smart and practical idea: open partially and use like you would use a tissue-dispenser or open fully and store it vertically in a drawer for easy access and minimal space taken.Recommended.

Nicely made and very strong punched pockets for A4. The usual holes are there for various files, but unlike thin pockets, they won't rip.The surface is embossed, giving it a grainy, non-reflective surface.I take issue with the 20 sheets capacity - maybe of the very thinnest banking paper, but that's rare. In practice, about five sheets is a realistic capacity.

Esselte do their basic 70 micron as a 100 pack for about the same cost as these 25 pack 115 micron. So are they worth 4 times a much? Well, that depends on the use. If you are taking pages in and out a lot then probably. But if you really only need to have a few sheets in and them leave them there, then probabl;y not. The quality is good and they are heavy duty.
