I just started working out 5 weeks ago, but I am the type of guy that when they do something, I go 100%, so the little extra edge for lifting with a bit of Creatine made sense to me....... Bought this brand because it was the only one that was clearly labeled as "pharmaceutical grade" (AKA better monitored and cleaned) and is micronized (ground into finer granules so your body can absorb more of it, more easily and efficiently). It's my first time trying creatine (I take 5 grams daily 30 minutes before my workouts mixed with a small scoop of my organic brown rice protein to avoid potential "bathroom issues" that some folks have with taking creatine straight...probably b/c they are taking it on an empty stomach).I am now on this product for about 3 weeks and this product definitely does the trick!I definitely find myself "lifting" a bit more and for longer periods and I can literally see and feel the water filling my muscles within minutes! And for the whining babies out there, bloating is NORMAL with all creatine, because it is "filling" the muscles with water and such, so quit complaining! It's doing it's job, and you will "deflate" within 2-3 hours... it's well worth looking like your "pregnant" for a few hours in the gym in order to lift a bit heavier. My combination of my Organic protein power (from Garden of Life- Chai Flavor), my MultiVitamin (from a company called Invite Health... amazing by the way), my Creatine from Dymatize, and the Pulse product from Legion has made me unstoppable and I am lifting heavier and heavier, weekly! What was really cool (and I am not a person who fishes or needs compliments), but the "meat heads" in my gym have told me that they can't believe my "growth" in just 5 weeks and that if I "keep it up" that I will start to look like a monster in about 4-5 months...... (it's a bit scary that they "noticed" the "new guy" and have been "watching me", but apparently, the meat heads are in constant competition with everyone and that this is a "normal" practice (and by the way, I am not a meat head by any means).Anyway, hope this review helps all aspiring workout-aholics.

Too bad there is so much false information going around about creatine. First, creatine is not a steroid else it couldn't be sold online within the States. Your kidneys won't explode either and won't cause other major organs to shut down. Creatine shouldn't cause muscle tears either. In fact, it's one of the safest supplements a person could use next to whey and fish oil capsules.FYI, most creatines are about the same. I bought this one because it was micronized and at a good price. My only compliant I have with this company is the same for all companies; it had very little instructions in how to take creatine. Here's how you ought to take it. There is no need to load with creatine. You do need to dilute the powder greatly when using it. If you take creatine alone, 5g should be diluted in 32oz at the minimum. There's no benefit to taking it before you workout so another suggestion is taking it with your post workout shake (which then benefits from using a high GI drink, I recommend this). 5g, 2.5g should be taken everyday. If you have previous problems with retaining water weight from using creatine, using as little as 2.5g or 1/2 tsp can still be beneficial and you'll avoid the bloat. The benefit may not be as high but benefit nonetheless.Creatine is a natural occurring amino acid that occurs in your body and in meat. It's about as safe as supplement get however with any supplement it should be used carefully and within specifications. And it's always good to detox from all supplements every few months for 2-3 weeks.Benefits to be expected are:-Reduced amount of fatigue during workouts-Decrease in recovery time between sets and muscle recovery in between workout days.-Up to 10% increase in all your lifts.-Volumization of muscles, density.Negatives:-Increased water retention of some(which is why the muscles are harder to fatigue), ie increased overall bodyweight-It simply may not work for you though that is the minority-Some have found that it increases their blood pressure

This is as basic and economical as creatine can be. I've taken it for 3 weeks now and some of my lifts have increased by as much as 10-20% but individual responses vary to these products. A disclaimer: I don't have much exposure to creatine supplements. I've only taken one cycle of creatine serum when I was in high-school and all I can remember from then was that I had a ridiculous acne outbreak. I haven't touched the stuff ever since. I used to race bicycles and it's a banned substance.I take 5g (one teaspoon) every morning. I usually consume it with grape juice since it has sugar to raise my insulin response but is still low in acid which I've read inhibits creatine absorption. On days where drinking grape juice blows my diet, I just take it with plain water. On workout days, I consume this after a workout since the body has a similar insulin response. The substance is a little hard to dissolve but it really doesn't bother me. My only concern is getting the stuff in me. I usually just mix with 8oz of liquid, drink it up, then add another 8oz water to clean up any remaining powder in the glass. Remember to drink a lot of water throughout the day.Overall, I like this product since it's so economical and does what it should do. If you really need something that dissolves, get something else (hence the 4 stars). However, if you just want a no-nonsense and economical product, this is the way to go.

Bought to use while preparing for a powerlifting meet. Most all supplements I've tried have been Dymatize. It's a brand I trust that delivers high-quality products, and it held true here.I've been taking creatine for almost a month now, and I can definitely feel a difference. I have a little more stamina and intensity available for those big lifts. Recovery time is great. I'm hardly ever achy or sore between workouts. As the package recommends, drink a lot of water while taking this. I haven't experienced any bloating or negative side effects, but I always make sure to drink 3 liters of water daily. My muscles do look a lot fuller and filled out, especially in the shoulders.Servings are given in teaspoons, not "scoops". There is no scoop included in the tub. I found a spare measuring spoon and leave it inside the tub.I mix 1 rounded teaspoon with 1 scoop of Dymatize's All9 Amino Acids and 10 fl oz of water. Mix in a shaker cup and down it a hour or two before working out. This combination mixes pretty good. It does result in a foamy-looking drink, and you can see bits of powder cling to the sides of the cup. That's nothing a little more water or mixing can't fix, I imagine.I did NOT do a loading phase, and have never taken it alone (i.e. without the amino acid powder).

This is my first time trying creatine, so I can't compare it to anything else. I've never really believed in the hype surrounding creatine. I don't lift heavy weights, but I've been doing some rock climbing and started training for a 5k, so I thought I'd see if creatine helped with recovery.I took this stuff pretty much daily for about a month while running and climbing frequently and noted that my forearms would hurt a little from climbing, but that I could hit the gym again in a couple of days. For one reason or another I went off the creatine for several days and then went climbing and my forearms had me out of commission for at least 4 days. I'd have to do more of an experiment to see if this was all due to the creatine, but it was enough for me to believe this stuff really does cut recovery time.Regarding this specific product, as previous reviews mentioned, it does not seem to dissolve very well. I'll pour it in Gatorade and it will still be "sandy" after an hour or so of shaking and mixing. After several (6+) hours it seems to completely dissolve.Overall I think the product is good. I'd prefer it dissolved better, but since I have no other experience with creatine I'm not sure if others perform better than this.

Mixes well in my blender bottle with my protein isolate. Great results, after 4-7 days the effects were very noticeable. I've been doing more sets and more reps and recovered faster during resting in between sets. This creatine is priced well, much cheaper than those flavored creatines I see on amazon. Dont buy those ones, they are ripping you off badly, I see some costing the same price or even over the price of this but ONLY HAVE 30 DAMN SERVINGS!!!! However this creatine is tasteless, but it will last you 6 months. Just buy this and saved you a whole bunch of money in the long term. And don't forget to take a teaspoon amount, the label is inaccurate because 2 teaspoons is 10g not 5g.You dont wanna ruin your kidneys overdosing on creatine.

My first creatine was Platinum Muscletech and comparing with this one.. it doesn't have any aftertaste, like drinking just water (unlike Muscletech).I don't know the reviews about this supplement is hard to mix. but if you mix this just with water at ''ROOM TEMPERATURE'', you won't get any residue at all. Muscletech is hard to mix after a period of time, it forms like a soft stone, impossible to mix..Cons:- Packaging: The container is very cheap and harsh to open, but I don't care as long as the product is sealed and works.- No scoop: I didn't give a 5-star because of this. Muscletech provides one and the daily intake is right comparing with this one.

This is my first time trying Creatine. I use Dymatize glutamine so I know they make quality products. After 2 weeks of taking Creatine I have noticed my lifting can go for longer at higher intensity. This was one of the reasons I wanted to start creatine and it's working great. However, I do not seem to be suffering from GI discomfort that some people experience. I also do not seem to be retaining water and bloating up as some people experience as well. Like any supplement everyone's body responds differently. I will definitely be purchasing this product again.

I ordered Creatine powder and it arrived in 4 days. I looked for this product locally and it was twice the price. I am not a body builder or an excercise fanatic. I am using this for the other benfits it offers. I am on a combine regiment with L-Glutamine and they improve my digestion and take away the morning fog I used to experience. I have tons more energy and have done away with the afternoon naps that were getting routine. You may read many things on the benefits of such supplements i can only tell you to take the light financial hit and see for yourself.

ok so creatine is like sugar. you cant add anything to it or take anything away. its the same everywhere. micronized means its smaller. who cares. it doesnt really matter. all that matters is that you get it into your body. dump a scoop in your mouth and drink some liquid. mixing it in a cup just wastes the creatine. no matter what the brand is it isnt made to dissolve well. thats why they recommend a "heaping" teaspoon because so much gets stuck on the glass. i am on my 4th order and its just as good as any other and the price is just right.

This is a good quality, effective, reading supplement. Using the subscribe and save feature, you can get this product for a low price and ensure you don't run out. While lifting with this creatine on a daily basis, I racked up both muscle mass and substantial strength gains. I also mixed it with a BBCA supplement that had some glucose in it. Glucose is said to improve creatine absorption. This is a pretty easy pick if your considering creatine as part of a weight lifting or bodybuilding training program.

I take my creatine monohydrate by putting a scoop straight into my mouth and then washing it down with a drink. Having tried dymatize and muscletech, my conclusion is that creatine simply has a bit of bitterness to it. I noticed dymatize seems to have the bitterness in its *taste* and muscletech had it more in the *aftertaste*. Although it's not a huge deal either way, I prefer dymatize. But it's such a small difference that I still plan on buying whichever creatine is cheapest at that moment.

I compared them ALL: This one is the best price, same ingredients and quality. It gets very confusing because of the different sizes and weights available when you compare all the creatine products available on Amazon, but bottom line is, on a per serving basis, this one is the lowest price.Quality is great, tasteless, odorless. Like all creatines, does't dissolve entirely, but enough to easily digest. Never had any stomach issues like I've had with other brands in the past.

18.1.2020

It seemed to harden my muscles which was good, but I took 3 servings a day and got an upset stomach. I am sure certain people react to it differently, but for me, it upset my stomach. Other than that it seemed pretty good. I was only doing like 3 dips and after a few days of taking this I was doing 20. So maybe this helped boost my workout, but could of been a coincidence. I would recommend to try it just be careful if you have a sensitive stomach.

Creatine is creatine, no matter what the lable on it says. I ended up getting this on sale with an amazon coupon, so it was worth it. I usually buy a different brand thats cheaper. This mixes easily, hasnt upset my stomach, and is flavorless. I throw a serving in my post workout shake with some flavoring and it does the job fine. My advice is to compare when shopping. Normally i dont buy brand-name items, but on sale it was well worth the value.
