Reel is a well engineered product and the line has laid on it perfectly but I have yet to put it to use.I have though paired it up with a Daiwa Ninja 10ft feeder rod and the balance is absolutely perfect.

Brilliant reel for the money, silky smoothe and well made. I was sufficiently impressed after a couple of months use to buy another bigger version for targeting bigger fish.

Cracking real, paired it with the 10 ft daiwa pellet wagler rod and bagged up all day with fish to 14lbs..Handled with ease and totally effortless..

Amazing reel , I have the 4000a as well but the spool size is nicer on the 4012.
