I know that a front zip wetsuit isn't as good as a back zip for keeping you warm in the water but then a shortie isn't your best choice for cold water use anyway, but for me it was a compromise worth making. this is a well made suit, the shipping was quick and when I ordered the wrong size, a return and refund was no problem. ordered and received the correct size replacement and I am totally happy with it. we got two of these, a mens and ladies and my wife is equally pleased with hers. I will copy and paste this on my review of the ladies model.

I'm delighted with my new wet-suit which I've now used on two holidays. It kept me really warm in our chilly British waters, and meant that I actually wanted to go in the sea with the kids this year. I really like the front zip as I found it much easier to get on (though /I still needed a bit of help to get off). The front zip also means the suit doesn't throttle you around the neck.

I've had this wetsuit for about two years and it's lasted well, although the grey sleeves have faded quite a lot. It comes up a little small as you would expect. I've only worn it in swimming pools so I can't comment on its ability to withstand really cold seas!

Great to find a wetsuit with a zip up the front. It looks good but I haven't used it in water yet so can't say about function.

This is a great wet suit, it is extremely comfortable and is easy to get on and off with the with front zip.
