I tried replacing an inner tube after changing old tyres for new recently but my tyre levers left me with no fewer than four pinch punctures over two inner tubes with my new tyres proving to be that bit extra tight. At one point I thought the tyre was too small for the wheel rim.I read some reviews of the Crankbrothers tyre levers and thought I'd give it a go thinking that I'd send it back if it proved fruitless. WOW... It was so much easier to get that stubborn tyre back on the rim with no pinch problems or punctures. Granted it takes a bit of strength to pull the last bit of tyre over the rim but I am so pleased knowing that I wont have any more issues with punctures after re-fitting.Removing the tyre though needs an extra lever so I still need my old ones for extra leverage.Bear this in mind if you are buying levers for the first time as you will need more than one to aid removal.Hope that helps with your decision making.

I didn't have high expectations, but this gizmo surprised on the upside. Inserting the lever under bead takes about the same effort as a conventional lever but it gets easier after that. A back and forth wrist motion will 'walk' the lever along the rim. Like conventional levers, the Speedier lever will make only slow progress at first but with each bit gained, the next is that much easier. Compared to conventional levers, I found it about 20-30% faster to remove the tire and at least 50% faster to reinstall. Getting those last few inches tucked under the rim is MUCH EASIER with the Speedier lever. For new riders, I'd rate it easier to learn to use than the standard method but practice first at home before taking a ride. There is no savings in size or weight. Three conventional levers are roughly equal to one Speedier lever.

Great little product and dirt cheap for what it achieves. I bought this in conjunction with another (and far inferior) solution just in case I didn't get the performance I was looking for, and it far outshined it. Yes, when you get to that hardest part of getting the last stubborn bit of tyre back onto the wheel, it was the same assiduous task of insuring you weren't pinching the tube, but as opposed to conventional tyre levers, this product cut the stress and difficulty down by about 80%, not to mention the saving in time. I managed two wheel changes in under fifteen minutes, which when considering I've spent more than half an hour in the past just trying to get one filthy stubborn rotten tyre back on the blasted stinking wheel,is really giving credit where credit is due.

Taking a tyre off the rim is by far my most hated job on a bike. With this tool taking the tyre off was done in seconds. It seems like a pretty sturdy plastic tyre lever, and was certainly sturdier than the set that I had previously (which snapped just trying to lever the tyre over the rim...) and this single lever had done the job that I have tried with multiple levers. Its also really good to have a section of the tool dedicated to speedy tyre replacement. This tool made getting the tyre off the rim and putting it back on take less time than it did to deflate and reinflate the tyre (as I realised I put it on the wrong way.Check your tyres for direction of rotation so you dont have to swap the tyre round like I did...)This is one item I should have bought years ago.

I have a mixed opinion on this. My tyre/rim combo is EXTREMELY tight and I found it impossible to get the tyre off using this tool - I had to resort to using 3 normal tyre levers. However, for putting the tyre back on (which was always the most difficult and stressful bit) this worked pretty much as advertised, and slipped my very tight tyre back onto the rim with hardly any trouble at all; something I have struggled to do, even with tyre levers. For that reason it has earned a place in my saddlebag for all my rides.Just be aware that if you have a very tight tyre/rim combo you still might need additional assistance to get your tyre off. It might work OK though for less tight tyres, but I haven't tried it yet.

I was changing tires on two bikes to go from a 23 to a 32 to make it easier to ride on some crushed stone trails. I did the first bike without this tool and fought to get the last few inches up on the rim on both tires and abused my thumbs to the point where I told myself there has to be an easier way....and there is. It's this tool. After finishing the first bike, I immediately went to Amazon and ordered this one on my Prime account. In two days in was at my front door. I was able to change the two tires on the next bike in less time than it took to get the first tire done on the other bike. It is truly a time an thumb saver.I highly recommend it and will be buying another to give to a friend.

After reading reviews I bought this tyre lever to safely refit a tyre. The previous review is correct, it would be very difficult to remove a tyre using this tyre lever only. I struggled using three levers as my tires are very tight to the rims. However, the lever works very well when replacing the tyre. Previously I have wasted inner tubes by nipping them, and really struggled to get the tyre back on. This device made it so much easier so for this purpose well worth buying. The design makes it much less likely that a tube will be nipped. So well worth the money BUT you still need a tyre lever to take a tyre off if yours is one of the modern tyres that fit very closely to the rim.

This works.... I have a particularly tight tubeless tyre on mtb and without this tool removal and refittong took about an hour of pain.... with this tool I wa able to complete the job last weekend whilst out on a ride in super quick time.... the lever did seem a little more bendy than I expected and I'm going to review again if it snaps but so far so good. The cost is high imho but you can't argue with the result. The lack of 5star review is only because it flexes and this worries me...... but so far so good.... I'm glad I bought it. It works. I wish it was stiffer and gave me more confidence that it won't break.... I'm carrying a spare lever I got off the front of mbuk...

I bought some new gator tyres and they was close to impossible to get on using a normal tyre levers I had (pack of four blue ones from wiggle). I cut my hands multiple times and was still left with the tyre not fully on.I took it to a local cycle shop to ask for help and he used one of these and got it in in seconds. After hours of trying to do it and him doing it in seconds I was quite embarrassed and ordered one of these tyre leavers.I went out on a trip today and popped my back tyre on a pot hole I managed to use this level to take the tyre I had so much trouble with off and back on really quick and knew it was down to using this lever. Would really recommend.

After MANY attempts with soapy water, correct technique, levers, and pinched inner tubes... I ordered this. Now admittedly, I threw the kitchen sink at the solution (warmed the tires in the sun, got soapy water ready, moved the tires into the well of the rim, etc, and I had another tyre plier type tool ready too.*** BUT ***This tool was a piece of cake to use.Place the special end on the rim. Pull it round both ways, and POP, on the tyre goes. No more levers for me - Other than getting the tyre off, where I still found using a lever to help get a bit of the tyre over the rim made using this easier.I did move the tyre

Amazing, I bought new tires for my road bike and put them on a with standard tire lever and the crank brothers lever. It's a night and day difference with this tool, I actually enjoy taking tires off and putting it on with this tool so much that I did it twice when I didn't have too haha. When you put the tires back on it can get can get a little tough towards the end so I recommend ether going fast, or using a little extra force 'kind of like a tight zipper'. But for the price I highly recommend and don't see how you could not be satisfied with this product. It fits right in my saddle bag as well.

As a novice cyclist/triathlete, I dreaded the thought of having to change my tubes or tires. The times I had done it previously took me very long and a lot of physical work to get the tire full on the wheel. I looked around on the internet and saw this tool. The videos online seemed to make it pretty easy, so I ordered one for myself. I'm so glad I did! Getting the tire on/off is so much simpler with this lever. I definitely recommend it!

I have some VERY tight tires - between this and the 'Tire Bead Jack Kool Stop' I went from damaged tubes, bent rims, and lots of work - to tube changing perfection.THe Speedier does a great job with getting the tire off and for most tires, getting it back on. Not to mention the way it folds the tube under to prevent pinches., For VERY TIGHT tires, just use the Kool Stop at the end to get the tire back on -

The original Speed Lever is the only tire lever that allows my wife to change her own tires on her road bike. This lever works fine, but it doesn't simultaneously align and control the tire bead in the same way as the original. It is however much more durable and a bit lighter. If you have issues with hand strength and/or with tearing inner tubes keep looking for the original, linked here:

This is the only lever i will ever use again. The shape is ergonomic, provides ample leverage, and eases removal and installation of even the most stubborn wheel/ tire combinations. I have snapped many tire levers (even the metal core ones) while mounting downhill tires and have yet to break the Crankbrothers ones. Bought this one to add to my trailside repair kit.
