First off, the Cokin P series filters are made from high quality photographic resin and are a great addition to any Landscape Photographers toolkit - Pro or Novice. Get the required adapter for your lens, attach the Cokin P Series holder then slide in your filter.For any focal length below 24mm, ensure that the holders arms are at the top and bottom of your lens - either in portrait or landscape orientations. This prevents the holder from creeping into the frame (vignetting). I shoot landscapes on a Full-Frame camera and find the P Series adequate enough for my needs. I do have a few Lee/Singh Ray filters which are great, but they can be a bit pricey.

I haven’t yet been able to use these filters in the field. I have had a chance to open them and take a look though. I purchased the full ND set and the Grad ND kit. The holder looks okay but is plastic so I am hoping to find another holder which is maybe metal and sturdier. Another thing with the holder is it does give some vignette when using a super wide lens, such as a 10mm. This just means that I have to shoot at 12mm instead of wide open. The holder also doesn’t lock in place so therefore slides about. As for the filters; they look good quality but is a shame they don’t come with a pouch or anything more protective than just a plastic sleeve with a cloth. The outside package looks awesome though.

It has been a number of years since i lost all my cokin equipment so have been buying individual screw-in adaptors as and when, but you get to the point its just all too much in weight and storage space in your camera bag and decide to go back to cokin. I love cokin, so flexible, so easy to organise in your travel bag..........BUT you have to accept the price. this ND Filter kit for example. if money is very tight, id suggest buying screw-in filters, but if you feel you can spend more, over time, start to build up your cokin kit. So in terms of value for money, umm a challenge as it is expensive for small plates of tinted perspex, BUT quality and flexibility,

Great filter kit, very high quality and work very well. Just need an adapter to mount the filter holder to your lens, and I would recommend a pouch to keep the filters safe and scratch free in. They are resin so can scratch more easily than glass

... and all fits well together. No problem with machining/molding, and the filters hold well.One thing in particular which gets mentioned time to time as a downside, is colour-cast. Well, didn't experience any.On that note - recommended.

Far superior to the other cheaper brands I've used before. No colour loss and great quality images. Used a cokin compatible filter holder too. Attached image had saturation increased but only for effect. Only used ND8 for this too.

Cokin is aways good quality although this set did not come with individual acrylic filter boxes as per previous items bought over the counter, hat said they did come in a clothe pouch.

Great set of filters for those who cant or dont want to get Lee filters. No colour cast but i would recommend getting some nice pouches to protect them

As I'd expect from cokin the filter is very well made. I've used it much more than I thought I would and love the dramatic effect.

Well priced set of basic 'half-and-half photographic filters suitable for any digital camera and use with Cokin filter holders.

lens are great for beginners , only issue is storage , unless you have a case already , filters could get damaged quite easily
