First off, the Cokin P series filters are made from high quality photographic resin and are a great addition to any Landscape Photographers toolkit - Pro or Novice. Get the required adapter for your lens, attach the Cokin P Series holder then slide in your filter. For any focal length below 24mm, ensure that the holders arms are at the top and bottom of your lens - either in portrait or landscape orientations. This prevents the holder from creeping into the frame (vignetting). I shoot landscapes on a Full-Frame camera and find the P Series adequate enough for my needs. I do have a few Lee/Singh Ray filters which are great, but they can be a bit pricey. If your just starting out or want to experiment with the Cokin system then this is a great alternative before investing in the fore mentioned systems. If your just looking for a great entry level system that won't rattle the bank, the Cokin P Series Kit will get you up and running in no time at all. They are very easy to install and sliding the filters in and out of the holder is a big bonus over the screw-on filters.Tip: Buy a filter pouch to store your filters and they will last for years.I use the Rangers Extra-large Storage Space Lens Filter Pouch. It can hold up-to 12 protective sleeves that helps protect them from being scratched or damaged.Rangers Extra-large Storage Space Lens Filter Pouch for Round or Square Filters, includes 12 Filter Protective Sleeves and Carabiner, Durable design, BlackI haven't noticed any major colour casting with the Cokin P Series - you get what you pay for and they work exceptionally well. If you do come across any colour casting, as photography has many variables - it can easily be corrected using Youtube/Lightroom/Photoshop.The photo included was shot on a Canon 5D Mk2 with a 50mm F/1.8L lens. A Cokin P Series Gradual ND4 filter (P121L) with 1-stop density was attached. The colours produced by the setup are very vivid and no noise or colour casting was noticed before developing in Lightroom. I just love the nostalgia connected to black and white prints so have included one as as well.I should point out that I did not receive these filters as part of any deal by the seller.Great system - great quality - whats not to like...

I haven’t yet been able to use these filters in the field. I have had a chance to open them and take a look though. I purchased the full ND set and the Grad ND kit. The holder looks okay but is plastic so I am hoping to find another holder which is maybe metal and sturdier. Another thing with the holder is it does give some vignette when using a super wide lens, such as a 10mm. This just means that I have to shoot at 12mm instead of wide open. The holder also doesn’t lock in place so therefore slides about. As for the filters; they look good quality but is a shame they don’t come with a pouch or anything more protective than just a plastic sleeve with a cloth. The outside package looks awesome though.I see no colour cast at the moment but I will update the review as soon as I get a chance to get out with them.

It has been a number of years since i lost all my cokin equipment so have been buying individual screw-in adaptors as and when, but you get to the point its just all too much in weight and storage space in your camera bag and decide to go back to cokin. I love cokin, so flexible, so easy to organise in your travel bag..........BUT you have to accept the price. this ND Filter kit for example. if money is very tight, id suggest buying screw-in filters, but if you feel you can spend more, over time, start to build up your cokin kit. So in terms of value for money, umm a challenge as it is expensive for small plates of tinted perspex, BUT quality and flexibility,it scores very high in my opinion.

These have changed my landscape photographs from looking flat and uninteresting to having depth and contrast in the sky. Now while you can get a very similar effect in photoshop I have found it doesn't look quite as good and nothing quite compares to seeing your perfectly exposed image apear on your lcd. There is no noticeable colour cast and they are a must have if you are getting into landscape photography.

This set of 3 Cokin P grads is a good compromise between the £12.00 cheap Chinese grad sets, & the Lee grad sets.Cokin filters are made from quality resins showing little or no colour casts. They are quite expensive, but cheaper than the mark filters and with a very good performance.

Useful for landscape photographs. Ignore what some might say: You can't always replicate grad filters in Lightroom or Photoshop, even by exposing the picture with post-production in mind. Sometimes it's just easier to do it in-camera and get the exposure right first time.

Great filter kit, very high quality and work very well. Just need an adapter to mount the filter holder to your lens, and I would recommend a pouch to keep the filters safe and scratch free in. They are resin so can scratch more easily than glass

... and all fits well together. No problem with machining/molding, and the filters hold well. One thing in particular which gets mentioned time to time as a downside, is colour-cast. Well, didn't experience any.On that note - recommended.

Far superior to the other cheaper brands I've used before. No colour loss and great quality images. Used a cokin compatible filter holder too. Attached image had saturation increased but only for effect. Only used ND8 for this too.

I was surprised and disappointed to find that Cokin now longer supply a protective case with their products, hence I will have to buy a dedicated filter case to protect this product.Slightly disappointed...

1st foray into landscape photography and used these the other night to allow me to darken the skys while allowing the foreground to be brighter. These allowed me to get a great exposure of both

Cokin is aways good quality although this set did not come with individual acrylic filter boxes as per previous items bought over the counter, hat said they did come in a clothe pouch.

As expected a good quality set of filters by cokin , I use Colin products alot, I'm just a chap who likes to take photos without being a gear snob about it,

Been a sucker for this brand for ages now and finally got these to go along with the Grads filters. Great quality and build with very little colour cast.
