Very lightweight, lots of airflow, really nice feeling. I was worried silk would catch on the rough patches on my heels (world traveler problems) but not at all! It was like a sheet so light I could hardly feel it. I also had no problem rolling it back up into the pouch. Just fold it in half foot to head, and then again and again until it is the width of the bag, then fold the long skinny rectangle lengthwise in half, then roll it length wise tightly. This is how it comes packaged, just pay attention when you take it out. (It's not a stuff sack, you have to fold it.) The Leaves pattern is very beautiful, but the color depiction is not accurate. It is much more green than blue. This didn't bother me,and I didn't notice until I saw the picture again. There is a fold over the back that you can tuck a pillow in. Drool stains show up. There is a bit of velcro to close the more open side of the sack, I fastened it before falling asleep but it was unfastened when I woke up, and sort of stuck to the seam, causing some pulls in the material when I un-stuck it. I may find a small piece of velcro to cover the 'sticky' side of the velcro and not bother securing it anymore, didn't seem to make much difference. I didn't get tangled in it at all while I slept, I think it's 'slippery' enough that you toss and turn inside it without it tossing and turning with you!Overall, I highly recommend to anyone that will be traveling to some place hot and with questionable sleeping arrangements.

The product is well made and quite sheer. For me I think the best use would be to provide a barrier between my body and the sleeping bag to keep the bag clean on extended warm weather hikes where bathing is not possible. On cold outings where I will be wearing full length sleep gear I will not need it for cleanliness reasons. I feel the product provided a very small measure of added warmth inside the sleeping bag so other means to achieve that will be my choice. It can be difficult or at least a little time consuming to coordinate getting into the liner and the mummy sleeping bag when in the close quarter of a one person tent.It is quite comfortable and provides a better feel than the inside of the typical down mummy bag.

I read the reviews and hesitated a little and so very very glad I decided to buy it anyway. The Cocoon Silk TravelSheet is so amazing in many ways and I can't say enough good things about it. It is soft and easy to clean, quick to dry, keeps you warm and cool whatever you need. It helped me sleep and this is a big deal as when I'm in a bed not my own I flip and flop all night long - this didn't happen at all in the sleep sack and it does not move around either. I thought I would twist up into a taquito in it, but that did not happen not once. I love this TravelSheet and now I sleep in it every night at home. I was going to give it to my husband for camping,BUT...that's not gonna happen now...its MINE!!

I'm usually a frugal person but for some reason, I was drawn to spending a bit more on a silk sack that I was going to use on a trip to LatAm. It's a very light material and perfect for using in hostels/hotels/what have you.The color I got was African Rainbow and it looks pretty much like the picture.Only 4 stars because for the price I thought the material could have been just a touch nicer and folding it back does take a bit of effort -- then again, I'm not sure any silk sack is easy to fold back. The size of the sack when its folded and in the case is the size of the smallest umbrella that you can put in your purse.Overall - a little pricey, but I'd buy it again.

I really liked my silk travel sheet and slept in it every night on a recent trip to Central America. It was long enough (I'm tall) and lightweight, and rolled up small for re-packing (though impossible to get back into it's original cinch-sack, which should be bigger; I ended up rolling it and putting two elastic bands around it). I liked the pillow cover option at the head and used that nightly once I figured it out. There was some velcro that kept snagging and I couldn't find the corresponding patch of velcro to attach it to, so found that to be mildly annoying. I will be using this again and recommending it to friends.

I am very satisfied with this purchase. The travel sheet fits in a little pouch--almost the size of a small umbrella but not as heavy. It's a perfect size for a one-bag traveller like myself. The silk is light weight and very comfortable. I used it on 80 degree weather and it was not too warm. The pillow cover fitted well, although it may be a little small at some of the luxury hotels. I used the Velcro closure the first night and it didn't bother me, but afterwards I didn't bother to close the bag. I thought the product description was accurate for this product.

I slept in this travelsheet for 10 days in a row so visiting friends wouldn't result in loads of wash, wasting time, energy and natural resources. It's really soft and silky, wide enough to be comfortable, and the split in the side makes it so easy to get in and out of (vs my old silk sleeping bag liner, which did not have the side split). It washed and drier-dried beautifully, and the small storage sack is still big enough so it's easy getting it all back in. My only long-term concern is how the silk will hold up since it's lightweight and not ripstop.

Worth every penny! This was my saving grace while living in an Ashram in Northern India and backpacking through Asia. It's cool while hot out and warm when it's cold. It's very roomy and feels luxurious. I am a career backpack traveler and it's super lightweight and allowed me to reduce the size of my pack. This has paid for itself in the fact that I can stay in cheaper hostels without the concern of clean bedding. It's amazing how much you can tolerate when you have the small luxuries such as silk bedding and a great travel pillow.

At first I thought I was being a bit frivolous making a purchase like this. But after a few chill nights camping in The Badlands of South Dakota, Acadia National Park, and several other parks and campground around the USA and Canada, this item has become a mainstay, a necessity in my camping gear. It even works well by itself on warmer nights when sleeping in a sleeping bag is too much. I am still astonished with how roomy it is inside, how compact it can be stored, and how useful it is in hot and (ESPECIALLY) cold climates.

This sleeping bag has been my savior during the hot and sticky nights as well as the cool and damp nights out here. I don't travel without it when heading into the field. There haven't been any problems with the seam even though I move a lot when I sleep. I washed it on the hand-wash setting in my washing machine, and it's still in perfect condition. I also love how the top part of the sleeping bag perfectly slips over a pillow. It keeps me happy and comfortable in the most questionable conditions.

I used this for travelling and it definitely helped. I slept in some pretty grimy places, but having the cocoon around me helped me feel at peace. One of the places, in particular, had bugs that were flying in and out all night, sheets that were really dirty and wasn't a very pleasant place. I was extremely happy that I had the cocoon as it helped me feel good with sleeping in that place and made me feel clean... whether or not it actually kept me clean was a different story.

Love it! I took it on vacation and slept in it even when I didn't have to, just because it was so soft and smooth. Not quite as soft after a wash, but I'm still going to take it everywhere I go! Love the pillow part too. I didn't have a big problem folding it back into the bag, once I got the hang of it, and the size didn't make me feel restricted at all, very roomy. Great travel purchase, and so small I don't worry about it taking up too much room in my luggage!

A nice luxury to have on the road. I have laundered it twice and it looks fine. The 86-inch size fits me fine, and probably would most people unless you are very tall/large. The only complaint is that the little case it comes in is too small to fit the sheet, no matter how you try. After three times packing it back in, although carefully, the case is coming apart. You can just as easily use a plastic bag, but it would be nice to have the little carrying case.

This was a life-saver on my service trip to Nicaragua when I ended up sleeping in a bed with NO SHEETS, despite assurance from the trip leaders that every place we would be would have beds with sheets! Since I had already purchased this when we had thought we would need them, and it had arrived and was so beautiful a product and so tiny and so lightweight, I packed it into my 22" suitcase anyway. That was a hugely lucky decision! I love this travel sheet!

It's great, makes me feel much more comfortable staying places I'm uncertain about. Only problem is the way it opens. There's a slit along the side that fastens with velcro at the top. The velcro came undone every night, got stuck in my hair, and I ended up half out of the cocoon because they slit opened.I'm going to remove the velcro and replace it with a tie or snap. The product is otherwise great. Easy to wash when traveling, really fast to dry.
