I love the honey brown color, so I switched from a black brooks saddle to honey brown and got the handle bar tape to match. I’m very happy with my purchase! It looks great, though the color is slightly darker than the saddle. The tape is a lot more comfortable than I expected, though it’s certainly not the most comfortable tape out there. It is a little harder to wrap because the tape doesn’t stretch, but not enough to cause trouble or anything. I haven’t used it long enough to talk about durability, so keep that in mind. Overall, I’mhappy with the tape and it’s a good, more affordable alternative to the leather bar tape.

If you are gonna go for low-end synthetic bar tape, then you might as well buy the best synthetic out there. This is it! I bought an ultra cheap Deda tape which was just spongey and warped when I started to wrapping with poor bar ends and sticky tape. This Brooks tape is the best cheap tape I have bought - the best part of the cotton/fabric sticky tape that secures the final piece down, it gives the handlebars a unique and rustic look and the bar ends are very solid and story, albeit plastic. Fair very well in rain too inc. the stick tape. Lovely lovely Brooks. They even do low-end with style.

The tape arrived to me two days perfectly packed and protected. Brooks is always a guarantee of quality although it is made in China. To the touch, once mounted, it is pleasant and likes to caress. The appearance is impeccable, really. The closure is a fabric strap that gives a retro touch, although it could be confused with adhesive tape. I was at a sad time to take the real leather one and I decided on this one because I don't know how it will hold that wet days when I leave it outdoors. Well, in short, recommended to give an elegant and fine touch to your bike.

This is excellent bar tape. It has a waxy feeling which is pleasant to grip and repels water well. The tape is very durable, not much flexibility or stretch but with some elbow grease and patience it will wrap. My only complaints is that the rubber bar ends were too big for my handlebars so it took a lot of force to get it in. Also the cloth finishing wrap will undo when it gets wet and the adhesive isn’t that strong. I would recommend trying not to rewrap the finishing tape.

I bought the 3mm black version, which turned out to be ideally suited for gravel riding. The installation went easily, pulling enough to pick-up the slack, but not excessively so. The end plugs are supple, facilitating their insertion. The tape is very comfortable and provides a bit more grip than other popular tapes, which I appreciate off-road. And it looks great, thanks to its texture and satin-like finish. Great product!

This tape looks beautiful. Gives your cockpit a great new look. Super thick with no stretch at all this took a couple of try’s to start wrapping but once I got the tention and overlap correct it went quick. Kit comes with finishing tape and small strips for under your hoods as well as nice looking bar plugs. I only have 100 or so miles on my rewrapped bars but so far super solid.

These wraps are certainly thick which makes applying them a little cumbersome for my application. Rehabbing a '77 Austo-Daimler SL and I wasn't able to tuck the tape in the bar ends with the end plugs given. The plugs barely fit in the ends themselves. I had to use a rubber mallet. Still looks good though. Probably install work better with different drop bars.

This is a great product Brooks did it again, I'm more inclined to this type of bar tapes given that I live in a place where rains very often and this is just spot on. Put in on a fixie with bullhorn bar, my mistake was to cut one tape in half because I thought might fit, in the end, I had to stretch it to make it work but is not as cushiony as it should be.

Great product. Looks great and feels good. I have been using them for the last 4 weeks and no issues so far. Comfortable riding with them. A little difficult to install because they are thick but if you got this product in the first place you knew what you were getting into. If you put the time and care into the installation, it ends up looking great,

This was my first time ever wrapping bars.Giant TCX1. The end caps were too thick so I had to reuse the original2. I had to shave the blue padding/adhesive off the first 3 inches to get the end cap to fit3. Not as stretchy and a little thicker than I anticipated.4. Easy enough to install after the cap issues.5. Very comfortable6. Looks great

Love the way it looks on my Specialized Diverge! Great quality and feels good gripping it. However, it will be harder to wrap as there’s not much flex. Gonna needs to put some muscle into it. I had to practice a few times to get it right but it kept its shape and stickiness after several wrap and unwraps. If you’re thinking about it, just buy it!

Installation was straightforward and easy. This is definitely a take your time and read the instructions task if you do not have experience. I love the finish and the tape has done great in rain, dirt, and mud. I have about 170 miles on it and it shows no sign of abuse or wear. I don't wear gloves and feel the grip of this is perfect.

Ok tape. Sticky part on the back is not the best but a little double sided tape under it makes the world of difference. Unfortunately, the brown doesn’t match the Cadbium saddle (it’s too dark) and the finishing cloth is too light to match. Oh well, I thought a Brooks trimmed bike would look batter all matched up.

To be honest despite one or two poor reviews it's an excellent tape, how it will stand up to touring remains to be seen but at the price point it complements my Brooks saddle and is very well padded which is an important factor for me. Installation is easy, very happy and would highly recommend this tape.
