The only problem I've had is that the rubber threads wear away over time (with repeated bulb changes) and get loose until the cage doesn't quite seat properly and can come loose. If you don't change bulbs much then this won't be too much of a problem.EDIT: You can avoid this by using a clip section at the top of the cage to access the bulb instead of unscrewing the whole metal section.

Just received on of these and it seems robust enough. Bulb not easy to access though and can see that 'flip clip' becoming and issue after a while but, as it will only get uses occasionally for checking for rats, mice and squirrels in the loft...... I guess its good value.

Needs a switch also some instructions would help some people poor 60watt restriction to say its a work lampBuy cheap unbranded get cheap not perfect product but it works for me so im happy with it

Good quality light. Works well with a (100 watt equivalent) 20 watt curly economy bulb which just fits within glass cover. Rather miss the crocodile clip facility on my old lead light.

Strong lamp. Only issue - didn't realise that the glass surround is too small to take most of the current LED bulbs which are slightly larger than the old 60w filament lamps

Perfect replacement for our old hand lamp which was very old and had started to fall apart. Robust construction and works as expected. Recommended product.

Used this in my garage as a hanging light - does the job well. I used an LED bulb to save money!
