The Storm 400 headlamp is quality made. While wearing the headlamp it does feel very light, the buttons are easy to access and have a solid feeling. One downside I have is how bulky it is. It is lightweight but it does stick out a fair amount, otherwise the performance of this headlamp is phenomenal. Is it worth the price? In my opinion not so much considering that output wont be 400 lumens unless you basically want to use the battery quick. Overall this is a quality product and am looking forward to utilizing this headlamp in more adventures.

Strap seems to need adjustment each time I put it on but otherwise it’s a good torch.I wear it when walking at night, it’s bright enough for lighting up the dark lanes or trails, dimmable too to save battery life. Different lighting options and the one-touch bright mode are useful. I’d recommend it to a friend. Works well with Panasonic eneloop rechargeables, run it 2-3 hours at a time a couple of times a week and it holds up okay.

This headlamp is one of the best overall headlamps i have used. It is really bright and the controls are easy to use. I like that you don't have to cycle through a bunch of light mode that you don't want, just to run it on and off.The one downside is that it is significantly heavier than the other headlamps I use (114g vs the next heaviest I have at 87g), so I probably won't be taking on my future backpacking trips.

Well I was really disappointed after putting the supplies batteries in.Then I noticed the blue light indicator was on one light, odd I thought. So swapped them out with fresh and WOW. I walk at night in Welsh countryside with little or no ambient light. Put another way it’s as dark as hell. This light is brilliant. I find it comfortable worn on my head or over a beanie. Just buy it if you need a headlight.

This is the third one of these I have bought and it is by far the best. I love that when you turn it on it returns to the previous setting so you don't have to cycle through the various settings (strobe) every time. Love the three colored lights too. The previous lights are great and still working great but the 2020 model is outstanding.

Read numerous reviews first was looking for a quality headlamp that is nicely made easy to use strong and most imporatntly WATERPROOF WOW the first time i used this this quality and distance of the beam of light was truly amazing insuring my early morning runs with my dog can continue safely throughout the winter months highly recommend

I really like this light. Really, the only criticism that I have read that I find valid is that it is complicated. I live in a rural area and use it every day and it has taken some time to get all of the features dialed in. I like it enough to overlook the complication thing and I would purchase another one.

A great headtorch but it is battery hungry. The headband provides a comfortable fit and the torch itself is easy to operate. Great beam throw at maximum brightness, but I often carry spare batteries.... just in case! Useful LED battery indicator gives reassurance as to power left in batteries. A great torch.

Got these for fishing at night and they're amazing! They're super bright in high mode, and the RGB lights are super handy when you're trying to not blind yourself.The waterproof feature is also great for splashes and quick dunks. The button pattern is quick and easy to learn and the headband is comfy.

For the money you can not go wrong, it arrived today and went for a run in the woods in pitch blank this evening and I could see perfectly at all times even when changing beams. It's very bright in two of the settings. And it was raining very heavily and as advertised it is waterproof.

This model replaced another Black Diamond headlight. This is WAY more powerful when the spot is on. Greatest part is the versatility. The diffused mode is really nice when you need a large area lit up. You can easily switch between the different modes. Not overly heavy either.

Great hunting lamp. Weather proof, multicolor lights. red light is paramount for the those early morning hunts so you don’t loose your night vision or spook game. Most of the lamps I’ve own failed due to moisture and corrosion. This one should outlast them. TBD

Everything about this head torch is absolutely brilliant for all round capabilty in any weather condition.I would recommend this as a first buy before purchasing any speacialist head torch other than under water activities such as diving or caving.

The Storm 400 headlamps are awesome! Super bright, 400 lumens of dimmable white light, RBG dimmable lights, battery level indicator, easy controls, one touch max power, quality and comfortable headband. Ibam very pleased and impressed.

I have always found Black Diamond to be exceptional products; the only flaw has always been their head-straps that stretch beyond use within a year after purchase. Nevertheless, the headlamp rates 5 stars easily.
