I bought this for an off-label use, as I noticed that it would work for what I was rigging up.My mother has a collapsible scooter. It's only used occasionally, but installing bags and so forth have been difficult due to its ability to fold up. As it is very small, she can easily be overlooked in a crowd. At night, it's even worse. So, I installed this onto the bottom rail for the purpose of mounting a small pole with a flashing red light on top. This mount has an articulating, geared knuckle which can be taken apart with a bolt. That allow the bade mount to be left in place while the cup (with the pole and light) are taken off for easier use during the day.The plastic construction is lightweight,

I didn't buy this umbrella holder for a golf cart. I attached it to my camera tripod for photographing in rainy weather. The clamp had to be modified for the slightly larger tubing size of the tripod leg, but it worked perfectly. The company really should advertise this for photographers too, and supply an optional slightly larger (1-1/4") clamp. There's a whole untapped market for them there.The adjustment allows me to keep the umbrella at the right angle no matter what the angle of the tripod legs, and it's easy to adjust when the rain is falling at an angle too. If the wind is making the tripod shake I can lift the umbrella out of the holder with one hand and trigger the camera shutter with

After seeing holders that come with higher end carts, I was a little suprised at the size of it when it arrived. It has a very large diameter tube that will accomadate any hand-held umbrella I've seen, a good bit larger than those high end holders. wound up havig to use the first week-end I got it and it worked very well, even with my gel-handle umbrella. The mount is very versital, but requires about 3 inches of exposed tubing. It also comes with a second stud style mount for some of the newer bag boy carts. I'm not sure if that would work with other brand carts, but it looks like it might. All in all, a little more than I was looking to pay, but does its job well.

Im a locksmith so im pretty good at fabricating things, had to trim a little of the exsess hard plastic from the storage compartment near the handle. didnt want to install it dead center of handle cuz ill sometimes push my cart with my stomach/chest so i installed it on the right side. With help from my ryobi 18v impact, it clamped right on. It holds up I I forgot to colapse my umbrella while I was on the green, wind blew the cart over breaking half of the umbrella. Adjusting the umbrella holder to where the umbrella was not off at an angel was a challange, took some tweaking but playing in the san antonio summer walking (saving money) isn't half as bad!!!!!!

I love my bag boy cart and have had it for probably 5 years now. I've always thought about getting the umbrella holder, but kinda held off because I didn't really want it that bad and felt silly spending 20 something bucks on a chunk of plastic.What I failed to realize is the value of being in the shade 90% of the time i'm on the golf course. This things awesome and well worth the money. I bought a bag boy umbrella and it holds it very well, I'd think that it'd hold just about any umbrella very snug.

This was the second umbrella holder I purchased. The first was made of cheap plastic and broke on the first outing, but this Bag Boy product is much sturdier and works well. I don't own my own cart and I've been installing and de-installing this universal holder from my club's push carts (which have round tube handles) every time I use it. This takes about 6-7 minutes each time, but is well worth it to me for 18 holes of shade. I would recommend this product.

I like the idea of having a holder for my golf umbrella. Have used it in the rain and on really hot and sunny days. My only complaint (not a defect) is that when pushing my Bag Boy three wheel golf cart I have to hold onto the umbrella to stabilize it. It can also be a bit of challenge when using it on windy days. It's well worth this minor inconvenience to have an umbrella to stand under when waiting to tee off or just get out of the sun or light rain.

This was difficult to put together because it was made to fit a Bagboy Golf Bag. Mine is not a Bagboy Golf Bag, but I was able to attached it to the handle once I cut away some of the foam covering. Had help to screw the base together and once that was done, the rest was easy. Now that it is in place, I like it very much. It has not rained while I 've been golfing, but I like it just as well for staying out of the sun as I walk the fairways.

This umbrella holder is perfect for me. Although I'm only 5'11" tall, I've always had issues with my golf umbrella being too short in any other other holder. This holder provides an extra inch or two in height. I love how adjustable it is as well (both forward and backward and side-to-side). I'm taking one star off because the holder has a little more wobble than I'm comfortable with. I worry that it might eventually break because of that.

I am in a power wheelchair and only have use of my left arm/hand. This product is perfect for me to hold an umbrella when it rains, also to keep me in the shade when the sun is too strong. This is exactly what I needed especially when I go to my son's soccer games!!!One problem I had was the clamp was not wide enough but I was able to use a longer screw to tighten the clamp onto the bar. It fits almost any straight armed umbrella.

The umbrella holder works very well and is adjustable to match the wind effects (speed and direction). The installation was a little more involved than I would have liked. I had to use the option of mounting it to the handle which has a rubber grip surface. I needed to use channel lock pliers to compress the mount assembly enough to be able to get the screws started. After that, the remainder of the installation was simple.

I attached this to my camping chair. Allows you to adjust at multiple angles to be able to stay in the shade even as the sun angle changes. It was a bit of a challenge to connect it to the chair arm as the arm on my camp chair thicker than my old one and the clamp provided just barely fit. If it hadn't, it would have been simple enough to go and get a couple of longer screws and I think it would still work fine.

This is great even for attaching to a wheelchair, which was the purpose for which I purchased this item. It has great adjustability on multiple planes and holds my huge umbrella with ease. The only issue is that once it is attached, it can be a bit challenging to remove and/or re-adjust significantly because the knobs are rounded, which reduce grip strength. Overall, a great product.

This umbrella holder is made with sturdy, high quality materials. I am so impressed with how well it holds my umbrella on my golf cart. It is easily adjusted so that it can always give me shade on a hot day. I tried cheaper model and it broke the first day out. This holder seems like it will last for a long time! I definitely recommend this product!

Great product for Bag Boy cart. Came with two adapters. One universal and one that fit my TriSwival II factory slot. That was a wonderful surprise. Bought the extension adapter as well because I wanted a little more lift and better protection from the sun. I am 5’10”. I haven’t purchased a Bag Boy product that was not well designed or constructed.
