This gym is excellent. We used it from when our baby was 3 weeks old and she loves it.Positives - the gym is bright and colourful and our young baby initially just spent time staring at all the colours. It comes with a variety of toys, the turtle in particular is excellent as it plays a variety of tunes and lights up. It can also be set to be either baby activated (it plays when hit or kicked) or to play constantly. Is is great as we usually use it on baby activated and our baby is already trying to hit it herself, but there is also the option for 'constant' when we want to do something and can't sit and keep hitting it for her. The mirror and the rattle octopus are also great for even young babies and our is mesmerised by them.

Got this play gym for my daughter and she loves it - she loves the light up musical turtle and the octopus rattle is her favourite. Best of all you can take the toys off and use them individually (the light up turtle has come in very useful during car journeys). They are very well made, great for babies who get a little excited when playing, they easily stand being pulled about, thrown and even bitten (my daughter's just started teething).We can even buy different toys to hang on it so she has a variety and doesn't get bored.

Lovely, colourful play mat with a hanging turtle which plays music. Disappointed that the diagonal bars going across are not just clip-on with plastic clips. Luckily we don't dismantle it as the plastic attachments can be tedious. The attachments that hang are ok...no better though. There will be 4-5 spaces remaining. Luckily we had a prior mst and usee ghose. Finally the fish is strange.. seems a bit lost to dare just clipped on the end. All in all...decent and an upgrade from our previous one.

It's great to keep my 1 month old stimulated, especially the turtle that flashes different colour effects and plays an array of songs. He shouldn't even be intrested really at this stage but surprisingly loves it even the hanging octopus rattle toy gets a thump often when he's on it. Not used the educational fish or teether yet but I'm sure he will get brilliant use out of them too when the time comes. Not stupidly expensive either so I was able to purchase this on a budget.. thanks kindly Argos

When looking for a baby gym for my baby, noticed this one was a bestseller. I bought this one as it’s bright & colourful. Lots of sensory toys & you have the option to move them around. My only issues are that fish pillow is too shallow for tummy time with my 8 week old (buy a separate tummy time toy). Wish the base was thicker, use mats & blankets underneath. In a world of baby toys designed to fit in with home furnishings, so glad to find this as my baby is very stimulated by this bright toy.

I Would highly recommend this Playmat. We bought it for our 4 week old, it's very colourful and fun, he loves it. The toy in the middle has colourful lights and plays music which the baby finds interesting. The main toy can be removed and used on the car seat/pram/rocker, which is really handy. The mat is a little on the Small side, but will definitely be useful while baby is still small, until he starts crawling around. Definitely a good quality product and would highly recommend it to others.

This is a really good play gym. I wouldn't recommend paying full price but I bought this slightly reduced and am happy with paying what we paid. It's good quality. The attachments my baby likes, the mat itself is not thin unlike others I've had. The tummy pillow is a good size for newborns. Lovely and colourful she just happily stares at the surroundings. Plus the over bars are good quality and as there are 2 they are sturdy. If there's only one they always fall over! Good gym at this price.

I purchased this item for my daughter who is almost 8 weeks old now. The colours are vibrant and I like the various toys such which comes with the activity gym. They are: octopus which has 3 beads attached, the palm tree which makes a crinkly sound, the big yellow fish which appears to be of a cushion like texture, the small plastic fish and star, mirror and the frog which plays music and lights up.The mat is a bit thin though as a result I was required to place a blanket underneath it.

Lovely bright colours and great sounds and light effects.The music is not overly repetitive or shrill. It doesn’t take a huge amount of space it’s easy enough to grab from the top to move it around if need be. The base is comfortably quilted and soft. And the fish pillow is soft and comfy (although a little too big for a very small baby).My only criticism would be that it would be nice to be able to just have lights or sounds on. As it is it’s both or none. Overall, really good product.

Easy to put up and sturdy Only thing needs more toys as they aren’t low enough for him to bat or grab at so added my own lots of loops to do so The turtle is useless though you have to hit it quite hard a baby of 6 months might be able to I guess but I would say it’s a waste of battery’s which you have to buy separately and it really is of no use doesn’t say anything or stay on long enough.But otherwise great little purchase .advise putting a blanket under as not padded enough.

Bought for my 12 week old granddaughter she seems to enjoy reaching out and hitting the soft toys and now is starting to grab them so good toy to provide some additional play without directly interacting with an adult. Some of the toys seem a bit close but you can position your child so they are not too close to the big soft yellow toy. I liked the fact that a number of the toys are of soft fabric and brightly coloured with eyes etc So far a very good toy for fun and development.

Our two month old granddaughter was very engaged by this toy. Bright colours and faces to look at, a toy to knock. The music feature was a bit irritating, so we didn’t use it. It’s a little thin on the base, but I had read this comment in previous reviews, so I bought a small throw to put underneath. There are a lot of expensive baby gyms out there, and I felt this was a reasonable price for what it was, with a good variety of hanging toys to capture a small baby’s attention.

Really like this product its very colourful and really well padded. I bought it for my 5 week old daughter and she loves the musical turtle she loves to watch the lights flash and is really fascinated by it. The only problem I had with it was that the muscial turtle didnt work properly at the start,the music played very faintly,i could hardly hear it,my little brother had to take it apart and when he done this he fixed it. This is the only problem I had and it works fine now.

After looking at many play gyms i decided to get this one, when opening it i thought it would be quite boring but its actually really good! All the toys can clip on and off so baby can hold them or you can add your own toys (we put a monkey on that vibrates when you pull it) the fish cushion helps with tummy time. The musical turtle can be set to only play music when hit by baby and its sensitive enough to feel the tiny punches my 4 week old could do. So yeah... Buy it!

Well made, colourful and robust. My daughter enjoys being on it and batting the hanging toys. The only odd thing is there is a picture of a parrot as a hanging toy which is fish shaped. There is also a picture of a fish in another fish shaped plastic toy. Curiously both have parrot and fish written on them with French and Spanish translations underneath..Bright though my daughter obviously is, I don't think she is quite ready to learn to read or become bilingual.
