The flashing star is hilarious if you were to ask my little girl's opinion. The flashing star has two options for activation, movement based on rewarding baby's play and automatic music tunes play for about 20mins! The music also has two levels of volume. Ideal for when you want to listen to your soaps whilst baby is playing ;-)The playmat could've been more padded and cushioned but it is very colourful with cute character decoration. Overview: my daughter is now 7 months and has been using this gym since she was 2 months old. She still finds it very engagingTHE GOOD: Lots of different toys that she loves exploring! There's a dog rattle the loves eating, a plastic rattle with beads, a teether shaped like a leaf, a frog with different shapes, a mirror shaped like a doghouse, a star that flashes and plays classical music when it's touched and more. My baby has enjoyed all of these toys at different times. All of these toys can be arranged across the support bars and around the floor however you like - it's not super easy to attach them but they generally stay put after you do. You can also attached your own toys.

I purchased this Baby Einstein Caterpillar and Friends Play Gym for my newborn son. Yes there are better play gyms available, but for the price this is a real bargain!The play mat is very bright meaning it will stimulate your little one once they are big enough to lie on their tummy. There are fabric hooks on the corners of the mat to attach the toys. 6 toys included which are attached to the frame again by small fabric hooks;Dog chimeRing rattlePlastic cardsFrog rattleWater-filled teetherBaby mirrorThere is also a musical star which can be attached to the top of the frame. It lights up and flashes and also plays classical tunes for up to 20 minutes.

Hands down the best baby purchase we made. Great size, easy to assemble and the baby LOVES it. It’s come into its own at each stage. At 2 months she loved just gazing up at the star with the lights and music, at 3 months she started exploring the toys. Now, at 5 months she’s enjoying some of the toys I didn’t use at first- there are a couple that are very hard plastic with corners etc that could hurt if she whacked them hard and they swung in her face but now she loves chewing on them. Easy to move toys around the different loops and use your own- we hang her Lamaze toys from the loops mainly. It’s been easy to sponge clean also. Would happily purchase again, but I’m not planning on letting my current one go!!

My sister bought this for my daughter, she loves it. Its the best thing to keep my little one occupied. She has liked this gym from a young age, it keeps her entertained more than 20 mins. Her fave toy is the plush dog. Its colourful, nice material and quality toys. The mat itself has nice pictures on it, love the fact that you can remove the arches when baby is bigger. I also think its great that you can add extra toys, they have put extra loop holes on the arches and also on the mat. This is a very clever idea and you are not restricted to keeping the toys in the same position. I tend to move the toys around so my baby doesn't get bored of the same toys in the same place.

My four month old Grandson loves this. The quality and safety is outstanding. The toys hang quite low which is great as the little one can reach them as well as kick them with his little feet. It really makes him chuckle.The 'Sun' toy which is included plays lots of different tunes. All you have to do is touch it and it starts to play which means that the baby can set it off himself. The face of the sun changes colour as the music plays. It's delightful and has a Velcro backing so it can easily be moved from the gym to a pushchair.The colours are beautiful and the mat is a very good size. I like that the fabric bars which the toys hang from are sturdy and stay in place.Whoever designed this

We ordered this play gym for our 3 week old baby and have been so pleased with it. At £30.00 (offer price) it has everything and that the expensive baby gyms have, and in my opinion, more. It is collapsible so can be folded up when not in use, has a very bright and soft play mat and numerous tags both on the mat and the two arches to attach additional toys.The toys that come with the gym are great. Mirror, rattles and teether and the music and light sunshine mobile is perfect. I have attached this not only to the gym but also his crib and pushchair. I would highly recommend this product, my son loves it more each week and we would definitely buy it again.

Aahhh love it! My son loves all the different things he can kick and slap, bright colours, lots of different things to look at,the star is great, when on motion detection mode you can see in his face how happy he is when he makes it play music, there's real life images too.and extra loops to hang extra things.Really easy to assemble and Its easy to fold away too, when used for purely tummy time its great, the mat is washable and there are many loops to attach the toys and lots of brightly coloured pictures, the best play gym I've seen so far, love it!

Great playmat for babies. It has lots of loops so you change the toys as often as you like. The lamaze toys also fit great. There are loops on the arch frame as well as on the mat so great for both when baby is on their back or tummy time. Easy to assemble and take own. The mat can go in the washing machine so easy to clean and is so quick to dry. The material also makes it easy to wipe over if needed. Amazing product!

I purchased this for my 2 week old I knew it was a bit early really so wasn't expecting her to do much but she actually goes for the toys on it and spends a good 10-15 minutes on it happy which at this age I didn't expect. I had the same mat for my 4 year old when he was a baby and he loved it. So that's made me go for this one again Plus it's machine washable which is a MUST with a baby (wipe clean mats Are rubbish)

I am pleased with this gym. Our 2-month baby boy loved it from the first moment. He enjoyed first the blinking star, then he started to discover the other toys. I like the fact that you can change the position of each toy. The gym captures his attention for around 30 minutes.One drawback is its thin mat. Given that the recommendation is to place the mat always on the floor, the mat should have been a lot thicker.

Bought as a present for a friend’s grandchild. My own grandchild has one and gets lots of joy from it. The smiling sun lights up and gently flashes which he enjoys and the music is not too overpowering. The rattles can be moved around to be high and out of reach or near enough to bash by tiny hands. It has been used since birth and I think he will continue to use for many more months to come.

We have bought this toy for our baby girl (3 months old). She enjoys it very much but gets upset after 10 minutes, we recon she gets tired of so many things around her. It is good for us as she is quiet after that :). The musical star has two options- to play music or to play short classical sounds only when baby hits the poles or toys. Very attractive for a baby.

Having just purchased this at the bargain price of £17, I have to say I'm very happy with it. Due our fifth baby very soon and didn't want to spend a fortune. Love the star that can be taken anywhere, it's not too loud either. The toys seem well made and hang at a decent height for baby to play with and for her to see. I think this will be well used.

We bought this play gym for our 2-month-old baby and he loved it since the very first time we placed him on it. This toy really helps developing the baby's ability to touch objects, making him realise he has hands and legs! He is really happy watching the smiley star, especially when he manages to make it play its tunes. Definitely worth it!
