Wanted a lightweight jacket for power walking/rambling which would keep me dry in light rain and also allow the skin to breathe. Previously paid £70 for a Patagonia Houdini, which promised exactly that, but failed on every level (the folly of buying on trend brands). I should've looked further and bought this Asics Essentials Jacket instead, as it does exactly what I wanted it to at less than half the price. Plus the Asics has two zipped side pockets, whereas the Patagonia only had one on the chest. I'm 6ft, 12 stone and the Large fitted perfectly. Highly recommended!
