This is a standard so-called 'Dutch lock' which secures the bike by immobilising the rear wheel. It's not a high-security lock but is ideal for leaving the bike for a few minutes while in a shop for instance. The key can only be removed with the lock closed so you can't forget it.This model loses a star because there are no fixings included with the lock. It's not a big deal because conventional plastic cable ratchet ties work fine but it's somewhat penny pinching not to include them.

Sturdy frame lock. Key cannot be removed when the lock is open. The key is a bit slanted: getting used to it in the beginning.

A good lock but note that with this particular lock, you can not remove the key when the lock is open.
