after using this reel for a few months I decided it was time to review. This reel is awesome, has a very smooth feel to it and casts great. I have had zero issue with it. I started using braided line with a fluoro leader and its performs amazingly. I would think a 30 STX and 10 would complete the arsenal. I use my 30 almost exclusively on the weekend with an Ike rod. Great combo and it looks so awesome in the sun. If looks have any added bonus value to you that is. Its great I love it and Abu Garcia customer service has always been good to me in the past in case I need it.

Very smooth, durable, and reliable. This reel was well worth the money. I use it exclusively to throw soft plastics for largemouth and has been nothing shy of spectacular.

I really like this reel, strong, gets the job done, spins nice and clean, strong drag; just a great product!
